Facing lot of problems with this new update(Android 6.0)
1.Battrey is draining too fast.
2.Every now and then phone hangs.
3.Lots of crash report in several aaps.
4.Google keyboard shutting down.
5.Losing mobile data connection automatically
I regreat updating marshmellow.

I got an an updatae message of marahmallow a few weeks before. Last day i had done from lollipop. But now i am totally fed up and disappointed that my battery is getting drained quickly than it gets charged. Also while connected to wifi or 3g, or during call phone is getting heated enormously. Charge is getting drained similarly as like countdown from 100 to 0. I had discussed the matter with a customer care executive at eranakulam (Kerala), he said that this update is not at all a complete version. Soon we can expect an again updated marshmallow version. Friends, kindly share your experience.

Neither showing any contacts nor able to add new contacts.Also,in PC not showing data through USB.
Totally fed up...Kindly,suggest.

This update completely hijacked all my storage. had to delete almost every app. Dont get me wrong the features are good. it says i used 7.43 of 8gs but only have 1.4 g on apps. had to delete all my pictures and music. Annoyed.

backup contacts first...I did a factory reset using the phone settings menu before installing marshmallow so far no problems.. some apps from Google play break..not a big problem..

*WARNING* Do NOT update unless you've backed up data from your SD card!!!
I've just installed the OTA update to Marshmallow on my 2nd Gen Moto G, and I noticed that the Camera Roll in Gallery is empty after the update. Not freaking out... I then used a File Manager to check the file system and discovered that EVERYTHING under the DCIM folder is gone! Photos and Videos outside the DCIM folder are fine. Ok, now it's the time to panic.
I then removed the SD card and placed it in my PC and I was still able to read it, which confirmed that I did NOT choose the "Internal Storage" option that would've reformatted the SD card. Likewise, the PC shows that only the files under the DCIM folder are gone; Everything else outside of the folder remains intact.
Has anyone encountered this problem?? I'm so frustrated right now that there's was no warning about this potential loss of data. My option now is to try using a file recovery program on the PC to see if I can still recover the photos on the SD card. Any other ideas welcome.

Yes u r data and all settings are change.So you must backup your data before hard reset

I have updated and i have lost all my contacts. i have done syncing multiple time post that its updated. post update my phone is getting hang every time.

After this upgrade, I lost all the names in the contacts list. I have the gmail backup, but my phone hangs when I try to import through a .vcf file from my gmail. This upgrade has made me CRAZY.

i got the latest update of marshmallow android v : 6.0 >
the update is not bad . but consider these points before update >
i) the phone gets hanged sometimes (very rarley)
ii) the memory usage is very high : 649 mb
iii) and the battery back up is very poor
