If the iphone sells more than your P1, what does that tell you? It does not mean that no one will prefer P1 over the iphone. But the fact that the iphone sold more units mean that more users find the iphone the better choice.

In addition to my last post, how Apple doing business now, I will not support them, I will go against them even if they really come up with a device that fulfill my requirments I will not go for it.
I really hated how they are running things now, what they are doing to users and other companies. Unless they set back on a decent track.

For me I searched over a year to find my perfect phone, I tried many good and regular sets until Sony Ericsson introduced P1i, it has been with me since. I tried new sets including iPhone but none of them met my pick. It doesnt mean P1i is the best and out of the world phone or others that I tried were a fail, but I just had to go back to P1i.
I am still looking for a good set, I think X2 by SE will be it.

It's like me saying your car infringes my railway train patents.

As for multitasking while doing his assignments. The iphone does have some multitasking capabilities, and its UI is just as good in switching between apps compared to phones that runs multiple apps in the background. But personally, I'd rather use my laptop or my ipad when doing heavy browsing or doing projects. I would find any phone frustrating and not good enough for heavy work.

Anonymous, 14 May 2010Can I ask what kind of stuff he uses his phone for that he ... moreI never asked much about the exact nature but he helps his father in his business so working with documents was in his must have list and he told me iPhone as an app for it but for not having physical keyboard made it all the way down.
And for his student side of coverage he misses multitasking while surfing for assignments.
Because I use P1i as my primary device I know how good P1 is to take care of these and more. That is why iPhone is still not in "my" list at all.

I met a young guy yesterday at a phone store, he was looking for Sony Ericsson W series. I asked what he wants to do and he said he is looking it for work and for light musics. He was a P1i user, his father is an iPhone user and he use iPhone time to time as well. I asked him why not going for iPhone and his answer was iPhone was ok to do work but I want more of it like I can do on P1 or W960. He asked for HTC Touch 2 as well and X1. iPhone was the last in his list.

FireDragon, 14 May 2010Readers have been going against iPhones and Apples lately. :)But you see I honestly don't have any issues towards those against the iphone. It's the way they post their comments that I sometimes find irkful. They make comments to offend, and when iphone users react, we're still the bad guys. Iphone users respect other people's choices, just don't be hateful. I find intellectual arguments stimulating. People can learn from each other through arguments. But hating is a totally different story.

I had used an Iphone and realised thats its much called, hyped features suits teenagers while HTC features suits professionals.
It only took 3months for me to switch over to Blackberry and now to HTC.
