Just wait a little bit..
Having no front facing stereo speakers does not necessarily mean bad sound???
My S6 Edge closely equals my old M8 in sound volume..

And design is beyond bland.
HTC always insists to include a fatal fault in their phones. Was the camera for M7, M8 and somewhat M10 (plus processor on fire, but it's less their fault). Now that they seem to have gotten the camera sorted, they remove their trademark stereo sound....
Its like they want to fail and sabotage their designs...

i like htc desire eye concept but in metal, with sound on htc a9, and camera 13 ultrapixel back 4 uktrapixel front, plus single and dual sim variable, i think it will be hit the market. and get the indentity of HTC.

If they don't make this one right, HTC is surely going to die, when was the last time a phone was launched by them which impressed buyers and also had good sales.

Sounds terrific and look forward to more details. So far it looks great. If its in keeping with the A9 then I agree as the A9 is outstanding. Its gorgeous, battery life is better than expected and it is zippy and smart. The finger sensor is faultless and very convenient. No turning phone over etc. I like the idea of two speakers but not necessary. The sound of the A9 for example is super crisp and clear and you don't want for anything. besides music is best through earphones and HTC excels here too.

Getting rid of the front facing speakers is just beyond dumb. It's the highlight feature of the HTC M series phones that were pioneered by HTC.
It's like when they dropped OIS from the phone. Going backwards is not the way to win or keep customers.
It's also the opposite of product differentiation. What makes the M series phone different and worthwhile now?
It's just another iPhone clone now. Even thought Apple copies the original HTC One with the iPhone 6 design. The HTC One M7 still had it's own look and feel, which was nicer than the iPhone 6. Now it really it just the same. Copying the company that copied you is not a step forward.
Really, the M10 is a perfect iPhone 6/Galaxy S6 mishmash clone. As unoriginal as possible.

It has a audiophile DAC inside and I'm using FLAC files. It's a night and day difference with my previous phone, a Sony Z. For me, a quality DAC inside a phone is the best feature since phone become smart. I won't go back to regular phone with compressed music.

Rumors ....rumors ... ... If the information is reliable, that no stereo, it can be a little problem with those of you who prefer to listen to music on the phone. But let's not forget that you can listen to music on headphones STEREO. And it's a big advantage, because they do not consume both power from the battery.
