tgm91, 17 May 2010Yea, play Crysis at Very High settings :PAs if Crysis can go mobile. If Crytek will make a CryEngine platform specifically for mobile devices we may have Crysis for our phones.

NVIDIA is already late in launching this product. ST-Ericsson has launched similar processor called U8500 last year and going to deliver lots of mobile phone with this processor in coming months both for symbian and Android. See the link "http://www.stericsson.com/platforms/U8500.jsp"

In the end it will be a fail much like Tegra 1. The main drawback is not on the performance side, nvidia is just too late again. By the time Tegra 2 hits the market, most other Semis will have their nextgen (like A4) SoCs available in retail products.

its not just nokia whos symbian phones are a failure! samsung i8910 was a very big white elephant....satio was pulled from both our shelves at p4u and carphone.... vivaz is very very slow. i only get 3 types of customers ....students and business people who want bb (which i have)...techies wannabes who want iphones ( im not a hater i love iphones)...and really techies who want android (mostly desire and nexus because sony has a bad rep..because of symbian) but its generally a tossup between those tbh. android is very big now but i just cannot see symbian going anywhere it was far too unstable and customer know it now. i had a n97 and i UPDATED IT and the phone broke because of that...thats crazy.

Nokia hasn't presented any phones that would 'wow' you since the N95 and the 8Gb variety. After that it's been putting sub-par hardware into all their flagships. N97 was much hyped but didn't really deliver much besides a touchscreen. N86 was good in its way, but a xenon flash was much missed, and would've made it a perfect non-touch cameraphone.

A few years ago people just came in asking for the latest Nokia, that doesn't happen much any more.

Nokia treated their customers like dirt with subpar unfinished devices and now it's time for them to pay.
