And then in December I received another update which included the battery optimization feature that is on my gs6 edge. And the battery of my s5 is just junk now. Good thing it's just my betting device

AnonD-3367, 15 Feb 2016Don't feel bad for us Samsung users, we have the phones wit... moreOh, don't feel bad, pal! Yes, Samsung's hardware is so powerful, yet it has to literally drag that TouchWiz. I guess that's why Samsungs are on turbos and nitros inside - because of the feature-rich launcher, of which you use probably 1/3 of it's potential. However LG themselves said they give us a balanced phone in G4. I am OK with the 808 - it doesn't heat up and since Android 6 - even less so. The phone does everything without sweat and the battery is really good. But then again I am 30 years old and I don't invest the entire battery in mobile gaming which I am sure is the measure for battery quality around. I wanted powerful camera, balanced hardware/software and quick updates. I received everything I wanted. I am happy. I used Samsung before, I wasn't happy. Matter of perspective and personal needs ;)

Honestly, it's not trolling it's empathy - I was and sort of still am a Samsung user (my second, backup phone). The first version with Marshmallow for G4 is dated Oct. 30, I got it December 2 via LG Bridge. Users without Marshmallow just have to keep trying, it's a matter of region I think.

AnonD-416928, 15 Feb 2016(yawn) ... finally! My LG G4 is on Marshmallow from October... moreDon't feel bad for us Samsung users, we have the phones with the very best hardware (CPU/GPU, RAM, NAND, Camera, Display etc...), and TouchWiz is so feature packed, Samsung tend to bring features from the newest Android OS to us while they work on the update. 6.0 won't feel that diff as we've had some features already. :)
Rather feel sorry for people using Snapdragon 808 and Snapdragon 810 CPUs, those phones will be horrible, heat up, throttle heavily and eat battery regardless of Android OS.
I feel sorry for those people using those 808 and 810 disasters, their OEMs will be very fast in forgetting them when they get the 820 phones out, lol. :)

AnonD-293430, 15 Feb 2016you didn't get MM from october....unless it's cm13...Nope, looking it up (source: Wikipedia, see Android Marshmallow page and it's somewhere there) that the first device after Nexus(es) was G4.

I feel bad for LG customers too. I have LG G flex 2, flagship specifications. LG screwed up with snapdragon 810, the price dropped 60 % , of course no company will fully support a cheap product, the customers will have to pay for LG's stupidity. Some of us will suffer for paying the full price. Thank you LG

AnonD-399271, 15 Feb 2016waiting for marshmallow on note 4 edge.Oh, come on guys! You knew Samsung's slow with updates. It's flagship is only getting it now, 6 months after it was released by Google. You will get the update somewhere in March/April according to leaked timetables that were correct about S6. Nobody should expect fast updates from Samsung, judging by it's history. It's a different story why is that, and I personally hate Samsung for that, but I'm used to it..
