AnonD-501662, 16 Feb 2016S5, is around that much and better then the s6 in my opinion.Blu Vivo XL should do the trick. 5.5" screen, only $149, can handle all the apps you mentioned, also SD Card, OTG support, and a whopping 3150mAh battery.

Work that logic!, 16 Feb 2016So, concluding all the comments here, you guys just want a ... moreThe guys who want all that are Motorola, LG and Sony fanboys who are disgruntled as Samsung devices continue to be better than what those other lowly OEMs do. Samsung devices are great for us Power Users, 6GB RAM will be handy for VR, Multiwindow Mulitasking, and an even more enhanced SPen suite, something no other OEM has ever got right., hence the anger from these Samsung haters. ;)

Anonymous, 16 Feb 20166GB of ram is must have for Samsung devices because of sh*t... moreBut yet it still works amazingly fast and blows away all other flagship Android phones in terms of performance. So um, yeh, maybe it does need that much spec to run but does it really matter if nothing else can duplicate its performance and features?

          My next phone :D

The Samsung haters are going to lose it when this arrives, every single Note pretty much owns its competitors and the following year's flagships. Note5 got 4GB RAM and the fastest memory chip around, its competitors will only get those things in now, lol.

Note 6 with 6GB RAM and 5.8" display I'll make the perfect replacement for my still solid Note 4 :)

              couldn't agree more.
I have always wondered WHY Samsung haven't launch a variant with Stock and blow the Nexus away. Then it will become the ultimate test, we will come to know which phone is the smoothest.

Problem with Chinese and Korean brands - We will put our own UI even if people didn't liked it earlier.
Problem with Motorola - Inferior specs at same price. eg. SD615 in a Rs. 20000 phone, and no updates even for their flagship(2nd Gen. MotoX)

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2016I'm just trying to educate the technology-illiterate people... moreOk, I am an android user (fan as well, not a fanboy). Can you help me with my requirements?
                          i) Budget - Around $200 to $250. Decent performance (not necessarily ultra-fast, can tolerate lags here and there).
ii) Phone size - 5 inches to 5.5 inches.
iii) Apps required - Whatsapp, Facebook, Swiggy, Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, iMobile, Ola, Rediffmail, Tatasky, VLC - This is not the complete list, but most of what I use.

                          Now, coming to your suggestions:
                          i) Windows phone - It will meet my requirements 1 & 2 but not 3. Good luck trying to find some of the apps I use in Microsoft app store. In fact, I was thinking of trying WP for a change. Luckily MS helped me to stay away from WP by developing an APP called AppCompare. I installed it in my Moto G2, saw the results and staying away from WP ever since.
ii) iphone - It will meet my requirements 2 & 3 handily. There is no iphone available for $250 with size 5 inches.

I have not put other requirements such as SD card, OTG support, ability to share files with my friends, camera quality, battery life etc, etc. Only Android OEMS provide handsets that meet varieties of requirements. Can you stop being a hater and see the other side of the world as well?

You can never have enough ram. Especially on a phone like this which for a lot of people will replace their laptops for a lot of tasks.

@GSMArena: Note 2 also had a RGB sub-pixel structure like S2 and it too was a flagship no less (just like you are projecting Note 6 to be). So the 2012 Note 2 remains the 'last flagship' to use a RGB.

So, concluding all the comments here, you guys just want a Samsung without Touchwiz, no pentile display, no bloatware, lower resolution(1080p), stock android, IP67, no glass back, 3gb ram more than enough and super big battery plus sd slot. Yeah... And you guys still WANT a Samsung. How is that gonna work? Why not buy a Motorola instead. Your wish just doesn't work that way.
