30% of your mobile data is consumed behind the scenes and Opera has a solution

Isn't it just great that we now live in a world where data can travel everywhere with you, seamlessly? Open up an instant messenger on your phone and wallah, all your conversations are just where you left them last, perhaps on your PC or tablet. The same goes for your email, photos and most every data that you decide to hand over management of to Google, Apple, Microsoft or any other cloud service.

AnonD-43136, 18 Feb 2016Last time I used Opera max i got charged extra by my mobile... moreor change your operator. they are using differential pricing for using the internet which is an unfair policy. if you don't speak out against this, you will be oppressed and subjugated.

I've never hit my monthly data limit, so I am more concerned with battery - it finishes before the data does.

Great article. This can also serve as a Fire Wall for non rooted phones. Thanks Gsmarena. My most beloved trusted site in its category. 😃

Been using it since last year. Really great at saving data. Wish it could compress even more. Though Opera mini already saved 90% data. Opera Max helps in other social media a lot.
