so, the sole purpose of this phone is to take down lumia 950xl in windows 10 ecosystem? guess on paper the spec is superior then the lumia.

Have had real good luck with several HP gadgets over the years, have had several Ipaq's and a cell phone, I still have the Ipaq's and most likely still have the cell phone, but it failed a 2 ton car running over it test. LOL

AJ_74, 18 Feb 2016OK, it's official. Microsoft is paying 3rd-party companies ... moreYou guys said the same regarding the 950 and 950xl. But lot of people bought it..

So whoever want this will buy it.

Please note Windows mobile is no more, now it's updated to W10M with universal app support. Microsoft is working on a way to run win32 software on continuum mode.

Future is unpredictable. Android took over the market even when there was better Mobile os like symbian, maemo and etc. So we just have to wait and see.

Wow, we were all waiting for S7, G5, etc. and look who's beaten them all to the punch. If the screen is AMOLED this could be the phone of the year. Looks really nice and the speaker grid at the bottom is a great touch - Bang&Olufsen - no surprise there. Only problem is that it is HP and I don't trust them to make a quality product.

Agreed. I guess you need Windows Mobile (or whatever it's called) for phone functions and power efficiency, but have a dual boot with proper windows when docked and you'd have something really useful. Much more useful than continuum.

AnonD-503868, 18 Feb 2016Impressive specs indeed. Makes me wonder why no-one seems i... moreI couldn't agree more. I think a fully fledged win 10 system with support for docking to a monitor/keyboard etc.

I would move over from my Note 3 in an instant provided it had a removable battery and SD card as well.

Impressive specs indeed. Makes me wonder why no-one seems interested in taking the Intel route and stuff it with real Windows for more features, better browsers, etc.
