@gayankap Why change the design? Most people loved the S6 and edge. I'm pleased that the S7 looks just as good with a few minor tweaks to the design.
We'll get a new chipset and micro sd, so there are some benefits. However, I agree, if you have an S6, keep it another year and wait for the next instalment. Most of us are on 24 month contracts anyway.

The S6 has a great design (albeit too slippery), so this one is not meant for you to upgrade. Phones aren't meant to be upgraded every year unless you want to. Doesn't matter how it looks, look at the inside.
The S7 has improvements (ext sd card, better camera (finally), faster) and slight design modifications.

great i own a s6 edge (platinum gold) and i don't see a difference in design. if this thing shown in the photos will be the next galaxy then no way in this life i'm gonna buy that. htc made the same mistake of making the m9 same as m8.

I'm well pleased actually despite the similar design. It's one step away from being a true Flagship - the only thing missing is the lack of removable battery but the device has a bigger battery capacity which should compensate. Along with the MicroSD card and the water/dust proof certification, this truly is the best smartphone in the industry.
Two gripes though -
1. I don't like the fact that the Edge is 5.5. I dislike cell phones larger than 5.1 tbh and it's something I know I'll just have to get used to.
2. The price...what was it, approximately £800/1000EUR/$1140USD...
Samsung should do the correct thing and have a trade-in scheme for any S6/S6 Edge owners.

1. More battery
2. Water and dust resistance
3. No fingerprints
BUT it is more beautiful than any other out there.

2016 year will be tough for Samsung , as many competitors are introduced in the market in 2015....Samsung work on the design ...same look with increased hardware feature doesn't work now

In therms of design i don't really see any difference. I know it has better hardware and it has a bigger screen, but the design seems to be the same..
