Lord Bayron, 21 Feb 2016I agree about the HTC thing you wrote and I really like HTC... moreNo, I'm not saying we need to have a bezel-less display but we have been unfair to HTC for quite a long time now to the point that they have decided to remove the boomsound speakers and put a fingerprint scanner instead.
The top and bottom bezels of LG G5 is worse than that of the HTC One M8/M9 and there is no excuse on that.
The point is, LG could've done better. They are good in making a clean, minimalist look a la LG G2. The bottom bezel looks as cheap as an Asus Zenfone.
I don't need to mention how uninspiring the back is. Everyone knows that already.

i'm not sure if this is a good idea. maybe they should have put the DAC in there by default. it makes it look like the phone has a bad DAC to begin with so you need that addon, that doesn't make the phone look good.

Damn, I had an opinion about LG being an innovative company and they definitely are! I love that they actually try to create something better instead of copying from the other big players. It's a pity about the design though, it indeed looks ugly.

Dаmn LG. At first, I wanted to praise LG G5, but seeing that they removed a lot of very important features like
-app drawer,
-dual window,
-Q slide,
-and probably FM Radio
I'm disappointed. I have to say that LG you are retаrded.
I want an LG V10 with Snapdragon 820. That would be the perfect phone.

Well as all have been talking about the battery performance but it all depends upon the software optimisations. Infact they should have optimised their software as of ios, instead of creaing a modular design. The modular was not so great, but they made a good try. They should optimise their own LG UI. And they should have used a plastic LED as on the G FEX 2 or AMOLED screen as of Samsung as QHD screen will consume a large amount of battery. And infact for it is difficult to carry with you 3 modules with you safely although they are not heavy.
But the Micro SD card and USB TYPE-C, the Adreno 530 GPU and the Snapdragon are a great boon.
I think they should have equipped the phone with a inbuilt BOOMSOUND speaker instead of stereo speaker which are copied from BLACKBERRY PASSPORT.And the Cam Plus is of no use as there is as it is also about expanding the battery a single handed camera use which rarely anyone uses.
I hope that the LG G6 comes with a better hardware as well as the software and not the modular design.

you do realize we're far away from bezelless phones...it's not that you can't make one, you can, however don't know why companies don't try one out...really would like to see a smartphone with no bezels....
other than that I understand that this phone is fiat multipla for some people, however I' m not willing to argue with you about the bezels

Graz, 21 Feb 2016I think for a flagship, LG have got their priorities wrong.... morecuz u know what? u put too much hatred on this phone. i believe, things are beautiful when a person knows how to appreciate them
i mean, apart from the camera hump, things are looking great. well that camera part is too wide for me and looks so cheap for a flagship, but its okay tho.
and i think g5's friends aren't meant to be carried everywhere. but some "friends" can easily carried everywhere, such as the b&o audio, removeable battery, and the vr as well, which i think mostly people would bring only the removeable battert and the audio plug.
and to think that it is aimed for higher class of consumer, it's not a big deal if cash ia the matter here. since the tagline says everything, lg g5 is a flagship.
so i think your argument is irrelevant here and there

Besides, everyone has battery inside the phone. It's just that they made it removable.
No excuses here. Huge top and bottom bezels.

Haters gonna hate but this Device is a masterpiece from LG. LG deserves a huge round of applause for thinking differently. When all the manufacturers are not providing any innovation just increase in screen resolution, camera megapixels etc,lg has created a innovative device. Hats off

I think for a flagship, LG have got their priorities wrong. Not many people will want to carry around spare parts for their phone depending on the situation. It's nice that things are replaceable, but I think most consumers just won't get that excited about it - especially that they have to spend more money to buy them, and the G5 will probably already cost a pretty penny.
Battery life is a concern for consumers and it seems like LG have neglected this again in exchange for the secondary screen gimmick which in all honesty is quite useless. Why not something better like quality stereo speakers?
The design is OK but I much prefer the G4's.
Overall, LG could have released this phone as more of an experimental device (A bit like the G Flex) alongside a proper flagship to see how well it is received. I don't think this will be a sales hit.

Huge top and bottom bezels. Please don't tell me it's not. No excuse as there is neither a dual front speakers nor fingerprint sensor at the front. The screen to body ratio is lower than HTC One M8/M9!
