vivo confirms 6GB RAM, SD820 for XPlay 5

6gb ram is definetly too much. What point is there to have a phone which costs 600 eur and cant work as a laptop? I mean...for 600 eur plus 50 eur more i can have laptop with 16 gb ram.

      6 Gb ram is nice to have. (Samsung must be the manufacturer)
      But I don't think anything above 3 GB or max 4 GB would make any difference for a year or two.
      Dual curved display, a gimick as per many Vivo fans, makes them excited. LOL.. (ain't it coprighted)?? (Samsung must be the manufacturer or maybe LG).
      Lets wait for it to launch.

And in a way it will be an inspiration for the other flagships to come of this year or the next one, and probably it will be even a value for money with that specs compared with the other flagships as S6/G5 and so on.               If you run remixOS with 8 gigs it will obliterate iOS. That's all I said, because that's what I tried (remixOS vs iOS). So it's a myth that ios is fast.

              It's only fast in low ram situations, it doesn't scale as well as android (the more you give android the faster it becomes).

                      first with a 2k display(vivo xplay 3s 2013), thinnest smarphone in the world record holde(vivo x5max), now first to 6gb ram, vivo is a prime oem they are expensive but worth every penny, this should be expected the xplay line has always been a leader in specs before every other chinese or any other oem for that matter

CPU performance doesn't matter in mobiles you rarely max the ones already out, unless you're gaming of course. The only important difference is the ram. More ram= more performance. Always (unless you're running ios or windows).
