AnonD-506049, 22 Feb 20164GB is a garbage for a computer nowadays. Period. Good enou... moreBut the HP Elite x3 is not a computer. it's a phone, and 4gb of ram in a phone is a lot. the continuum mode that can enable a desktop experience is not compatible with full windows applications made to run on intel and and processors. The apps will be limited to the marketplace and will only be scaled up mobile apps to fit on the desktop experience.

HP, Alcatel, Acer all trying to hop on WP train... you might think market share of WP is so small but being #1 with third mobileOS now means they might become third world manufacturer in near future (if wp survives). I hope they make it, I hope they crush Microsoft mobile phones as microsoft made mockary with 950 and 950xl.

No but seriously, if this had been Android (gross btw) it wouldn't even have existed. It's purposefully designed for, and in cooperation with, businesses who wants/needs to run Windows.

                Er - no thanks.
Granted - nice looking device, good specs.
Let me know when a windows 10 device that can handle FULL 64 bit PC programs (Autocad / Revit etc) becomes available - then I'll be interested.

Very nice looking device with absolutely required features for a device with right blend of flagship and enterprise class. Hope this is available in mainstream stores across continents....If they focus only on Enterprise customers, they may become obsolete before it becomes popular! The timeline seems to be disappointing and there is no word on pricing. But the phone looks to me a practical one hopefully they price it properly

Please read this line again "One problem with Windows 10 phones until now has been that they can't run full desktop apps. HP is aiming to solve the problem by offering an app catalog - dubbed HP Workspace - that'll give you access to virtualized apps on the new device."

If this would be android instead of shitty wphone it would be much better. I dont trust HP anymore they make shitty laptops, and surely this phone while being powerful and such...more powerful things hp make, more chance that it can go wrong anytime.

It can at least try to replace laptops. S7 is not even trying to do that. Your logic is hard to understand.

This thing got my attention. I will wait for reviews before I go ahead and buy this device. Great device by HP.
