Galaxy S7 and S7 edge don't have Samsung's music and video players preinstalled

Dey made music player and video player downloadable instead of compulsory apps.
You can alwz install dem from galaxy must apps app...n s7 is most awsum and perfect phone ever made. Haven't find a flaw till now.

VLC and MX Player are the best video players for android..
They both support subtitles and MX Player is very customizable.
And on top of that, i love how on the left side of the screen you just slide and adjust the brightness, while on the right side you adjust the volume. I wish YouTube would be like this..
I don't listen to music so i don't care about the music app. But Sony has a very nice looking one.

Actually they (Microsoft) are not paying anything. But neither is Samsung for Microsoft patents used in the software (Microsd fat32 file sistem etc....), it's a deal they made with a few manufacturers including Samsung.

If they're available for download then there's nothing wrong with not including them. I prefer Samsung music and video players over 3rd party options.

I understand the video player, but the music app was way better then google play. I loved the music app.

hum samsung just cant help themselves with thier suicidal self sabotage. why remove the best u have and leave out googles nuisance apps? by the way I'm also one of those ppl who disbles googles bloat and even deny thier play store access to use my network resources on all the handset i get. i hate googles bloat ware its one thing that make android suck a bit at time.

I've had many phones to play with and I have to say that samsung has far the most bloated phones with all sort of crappy apps nobody uses. At least they should let you uninstall them if you want. If i remember correctly, in China they were sued for having so many bloatware and they lost, having to remove them. Too bad only in China.
If I'd get the S7, I'd be all the day thinking of rooting it so i could delete most of the apps. Can't they just put them on Play Store and leave only the essential ones?
Not to mention they slow down the phone like crazy, specially after a few months of usage. No wonder trolls call them LagWiz..
I hate trolls but this time i agree with them..

I only use gmail, chrome, maps, drive and youtube. most people would probably only use youtube and maps, i would add chrome, but surprisingly, or should i say shockingly, from what i've seen a lot use the default browser.

google's play music sucks, and any player from any manufacturer is way better, personally i like the sony's player the best then samsung and htc. google's on is the bloatware not the samsung one. play music shows you stuff to buy and unnecessary store related stuff. I hope they get rid of the google's one too

Samsung's Music Player is possibly the only good default app (I wouldn't call it bloatware) on Samsung devices. The issue is mostly that I don't really like Google Music player, it's not as convinient and as properly organized as most OEM's custom music players. It's not that it's bad but it's inconvinient and non flexible compared to the rest.

If they are removing apps The Thing should Come with just google play and Google Play services and maybe launcher,the galaxy app store,keyboard,camera app and the rest of Samsung exclusive app should come as a freebies in galaxy app store so that Users can truly customize android.Theres better apps in play store for each category
