Cant say they are totally wrong , but these 2 system overlapping each other . We cannot have more than 3 axis to represent position in 3D world . Nice marketing word to fool those people who never finish high school like E-Knife .

As the article mentions, there is more to stabilization than just an OIS. Even if the image is not stabilized and the shutter is fast enough, there will not be any shake on the image captured. Only slow shutter speeds will be affected by the shake and there the OIS should help. The best solution seems to be a bright lens with extremely fast shutter speed and excellent quality image sensor which can capture more light in short exposure.

In this case it is not quite as you describe. Look at the figure.
In principle it is two perpendicular axis in the sensor plane plus two axis at infinity (that is, the last two are move rather than tilt)

The nexus 6p manages 240fps with the old sd810. So maybe it's the camera hardware itself or the camera data bus

As far as i see they need to make this product be available worldwide not just China and India. The american market is an important one.

This video does not really show much, as the refresh rate on the displayed images in the camera app just MIGHT be better/higher on the Iphones.
What they SHOULD have shown was the end results of stills and videos taken with each device mounted in the same shake-machine.
