Just discover that Mi5 OIS perform when I was taking video, quality wise(video doesn't shake much) on par with Samsung S6 edge +
However, when I tried to shake the phone while capturing pictures, OIS doesn't help much to stop the blurry. Samsung top range and Iphone 6S plus doesn't have this kind of issue.
May I get any advise if OIS wasn't relevant on this matter? Or was it because of the software issue?

Guys, I was in the Mi showroom and briefly did some test use.
The OIS doesn't really perform in reality. When I swinging both iPhones 6S and Mi5 side by side and snapping photo at same time, the results show that iPhones 6S still a better camera. Mostly Mi5's photos just blur and the OIS doesn't really help much.

z5p do not have ois (optical image stabilization)
instead... it have dis (digital image stabilization
but what ever the system they use, my point is,
z5p have the best stabilization when it comes to video recording in 2015.
And I'm waiting the latest flagships of 2016 to challenge it

In the shake test videos, it is clear that different levels of zoom are being used on each phone, with the mi 5 being the least zoomed in (especially for the flower pot). This leads to the image stabilisation looking more effective as the image of the flower pot seems to move less. A VERY POORLY DESIGNED TEST, AND DISHONEST.

There ... moreI think you are confusing movements along a dimension with rotation along an axis.
If you look at three axis through the centre of a dice you can flip it as you please, but yo can not move it.
This OIS-system can do rotation on two axis, plus moves in two directions. The last two is commonly (though a bit mathematically) seen as rotations around two axis at infinity. This is why it is called four axis.
Think a straight movements of a boat on the ocean, it is strictly not moves along a straight line but rotation around an axis through the centre of the earth.
