One M10's camera will be "very, very compelling," says HTC

The device is rumored to feature a 12MP UltraPixel rear camera and a 5MP UltraPixel front shooter.

I hope HTC delivers.
It's really sad to see HTC dwindling down as they showed promise and headed into the right direction when they started with the HTC One m7.
Then they seems to try to mimic Samsung, throwing everything on the wall and see which one sticks. But thing is they don't have the money like Samsung.

HTC needs to focus. Focus on what they are, and go with simplified lineup.

      gees, u guys still dont get it. the problem is with the camera software, not the hardware. your good phones are spoilt by rubbish camera software. fix this!

              Looks like they opt for the same sensor as Samsung S7.

                    Looks like Samsungs camera won't shine at the top for long.
                    It's great bit smarting could have easily found or made a sensor with 12mp 1.6-2um rather than dropping the resolution from 16mp to 12 just for 1.4um. They could have kept 16mp and made 1.4um.
                    Or even tried for 16mp 1.4-1.6um. Or 20mp 1.4um at least.

                    The only saving grace is the extremely fast focus and f1.7.
                    If htc fixes their software along with a 12mp 2um and at least an f2.0 or better they will bring some strong competition
