I gave for G5 due to innovation.
But I don't like G5 design .
When it comes to design still prefer Sony X performance and S7.

Both are good, depends on personal preference. Actually, even a 150 dollar phone is reliable these days or I should say good enough. I will choose S7 plain. (vanilla)

Speaking as someone who fixes idiots mistakes, I am definitely going with the LGG5, the removable battery is always a good thing, and as far as design the glass backs of the so-called elegant looks of the nearly all glass builds are shocking shockingly ridiculous. I can't understand why people pay so much money for these and helplessly watch as they fall out of pockets and handbags and are sat on just to watch them shatter.

Hello everyone, I have a question. Of all the flagship devices released lately or soon to be released other than LG, which of them comes with removable battery option? I would like to compare all phones with removable battery. That is one of my main criteria to making a decision for my next phone. Thank you kindly.

While the lg is good as a stand alone phone, you're only getting your money's worth if you utilise the modules and removable battery. But the modules aren't even that handy. Overall the s7 is better in most areas that matter.
Camera has auto focus and good in low - light, g5 is better in well-lighted conditions albeit slightly, but that doesn't matter much anyway. G5 does have a wide angle mode though.
Design - s7 is clear winner
Battery - s7 looks to be quite a lot ahead, need to use removable battery in g5 to match
Display - both are great but Samsung is still better.
Samsung has ip68 but this doesn't matter to a lot of people.
It's not like the g5 is bad, but the s7 is just better overall imo. The niche who actually use the modules to their full extent could say the g5 is better and I couldn't really argue with that.

Really want to vote for G5 because of awesome specs and innovation but fu#k it it's ugly as fu#k with that dual camera and fingerprint sensor on the back....never imagined that day will come when samsung phone gonna look better than lg :( ... So my vote goes to S7 because it's less ugly and bit better looking then last year S6 also specs have bean improved considerably if we exclude downgrade in camera department...

LG created something new which all phone makers will try to emulate in their next flagship. So many times Sammy fans demanded replaceable battery to extend the life of their phones, but sammy was deaf and LG listened. Good on you LG you got my vote.

I just don't like the fact that when changing components on G5 it will power off every time and modular design is only in its very early stages and the way LG has implemented it, I don't think it will pick up.
Third party modulat parts would be expensive if there will be (m)any.
I prefer a complete phone with best h/w & s/w and S7 edge ticks all right boxes. Just my fresh perspective, not a fanboy and this is coming from an Xperia Z owner (yes the very first Z) whose phone is breaking down. I'd like the S7 edge

S7 edge of course! Sooner or later I can tell that the modular design of the G5 will be useless. Need to start up the phone to use the camera module VS I can snap pic really quick with my s7 edge by double clicking the home button. Longer lasting battery VS carrying extra parts and swapping out battery and booting up the phone again. Buy a power bank for s7, s8, s9, s10 or even s11 VS a removable battery only for the G5. Water resistant VS dust and water trapped in between the gap of the G5. Which one is better? S7 edge of course!

Both are good! Samsung has gaming features and battery life! It sounds like a good everyday phone while LG G5 has something that yet cannot be judged without cool modules released(if any). If there are useful moduels I might consider lg g5 my next phone as I don't feel like using samsung again due bad quallity of phones (had 3 samsung phones, all 3 had problems, my note 4 got scratched with good care, while i treated my nexus 4 worst then my pet and it got no scratches on the screen ;D (tons of scratches on the back btw) and the camera doesn't focus Unless i brutally shake it!) I might even wait for note 6 or new nexus or xiaomi mi 5:?

i just wish that they make phones that:
1. have standard 3500maH batteries. removable.
2. no-bloatware, duh... what's the use of google app store? apps are redundant. all their apps are running on the background. 3GB ram = 1.5 GB being used by default by apps you are not going to use, and yo don't have a way to uninstall them
3. will not crack under pressure (read: putting it in your pants, easily bent).
4. are not ridiculously thin. as long as these phones get thinner and thinner, it is more prone to slipping/falling on one's hand.
5. oh right... we have 3rd party manufacturers for casing to prevent those. what's the point of a beautiful phone when it is clad in a cheap rubber/plastic casing.
6. please, put a damn 2-stage camera button on the bottom rightside of the phone like Lumi1520, Z-series...
LG's idea for G5 modular design is great, but they forgot one thing... 3rd party casing manufacturers! how the hell am i supposed to change batteries if it is inside a case, unless the bottom part of the case is removable as well. how will i use the modular camera grip? it is not pocketable. how will audiophiles change their b&o modules? will they stick it in the whole day?i hope they think their modules through the next time, like a built in added battery that adds a few millimeters in thickness for protection. that way, we do not need 3rd party casings.
i hate samsung, but for this topic i'll be going with the S7 edge. simple design. i'll probably have it always in battery save mode as i do not need to be online and know where i am all the time (read: LTE and GPS). IP certification is nice although i am not seeing my phone getting soaked in any water. oh.. i hope they ditch the edge-thing. it's stupid. i want an S7+ that is 5.5-6in size. i keep getting typo errors on a 5in screen.
