AnonD-376965, 01 Mar 2016right.. better battery life.. they are all same.. at the en... moreYou start off by saying you don't care about battery but end by saying you do. Make up your mind. With the s7 edge you literally won't be worrying about battery, as long as you sleep at night, you charge it then, and you're sorted. Even with intensive use all day.

You also say you don't care about camera quality (which will be significantly better) but apparently you care about audio. Either way you won't be getting the audio quality without the attachment. And the camera attachment you care so much about makes the phone more than twice as thick. Won't be very easy to use when you're not using the camera, so if you care so much about one handed use I don't know why you want it so much. And you can forget about putting a case on it, while your busy drinking in bars do you really want to risk damaging your expensive, non-waterproof phone? And while we're talking about one handed use, it is easy enough to use your camera to the full extent with one hand without the silly attachment.

I'm sorry but for you personally, you will honestly regret buying the lg. It just isn't the phone for you judging from what you said you care about. Just for some gimmicky camera button or two your willing to give up so many things which you apparently care about (battery that will definitely last you as long as you need it to without having to bother with removable battery, better camera quality for what you use a camera for)

AnonD-376965, 29 Feb 2016well i use g3.. and i didn`t go for g4.. cose same problem... moreAmoled is better. It'll give better battery life, more accurate colours (saturation can be adjusted), brightness, contrast. It's just better in every way in terms of display so again, I don't see what problem you have with it.

The additions of the g5 are useless. Do you intend to buy the attachments? Which one? Why?

schwift, 29 Feb 2016I'm very surprised you liked the G2. As a mobile technicia... moreNot sure where you got that "1 in 3" ratio but I dare to say it's very "inflated".

Had my g2 for 2 years of mid to heavy use and never had any problems with it. I would take g2 over g4 any day even if they were priced the same. G2 was snappy, comfortable to hold and use, had big battery, excellent camera at the time, user friendly interface with some useful tweaks.

NeMo, 29 Feb 2016I am a metal unibody fan since M7 and think that glass back... moreWhat does that even mean "worse decision ever"? Are you saying that phones with glass back don't perform as well as metal unibody designs? There's no disputing the fact that the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus with their glass backs run circles around any M7,M8, M9 phones and their metal unibody designs. The Galaxy phones are also considered better looking.

Or did you mean "worse" as in durability? If durability were an issue then no phone would be using Gorilla Glass 4 in the touchscreen. If the front of your phone can handle being Gorilla Glass 4 then it obviously can handle having the back be Gorilla Glass 4.

Camera module is a terrible idea. Why would you pay that much extra for such a small increase in battery and added bulk with just a few buttons? That extra battery power should already be included in the internal battery. Dedicated hardware camera buttons should also have been standard on the phone. The camera module doesn't enhance the performance of the camera so why spend so much extra money for it? It just doesn't make any sense. Besides, the G5 should have gone with a sealed battery. Maybe the battery could have been bigger it was sealed and not removable.

Just look at all the extra time you lose over the course of owning the phone by having a spare battery:
                                - all that wasted time rebooting your phone
                                - all that wasted time recharging the spare battery (when you remember to do it)
                                - all that wasted time also charging the phone itself
                                - all that wasted time fumbling around with removing & inserting the battery
                                - all that wasted time pulling out the spent battery you just put in because after trying to power on the phone you realized you forgot to charge it
                                - all that wasted time fumbling around in your pocket trying to pull out a spare battery

Phones with replaceable batteries are such a waste of time. It's a myth that it adds convenience

The camera one makes your phone more than twice as thick without making the camera Better and the audio one is one that most people don't even notice, and most don't even have access to such high quality audio anyway.

On Samsung phones you can change the display to make it less saturated, it's literally as simple as going into settings and selecting display.

I'm sorry but I just don't see why you would want the g5.

Anonymous, 29 Feb 2016Like slippery surface, sealed battery that would be trashed... moreBatteries don't get trashed in a year. They work fine for 4-5 years under heavy usage nowadays.
The S7 is smaller and thicker than the s6. Thicker because of the bigger battery. What phone has a better screen to body ratio at the same size? That can actually compete with it?
The lg is the only phone that can, and despite the larger screen it still has a smaller screen to body ratio.
                                        IPhone is even worse
                                        So which phone exactly?
