As for its screen, totally outdated. I think that I don't say something wrong... And also, i think that Nokia by itself can make a better phone fron N8... Maybe this "better" phone would be a slider-qwerty phone later this year. :)

Compared to most of the new phones out there in the same price range, the N8 falls in the middle of the pack *nearer to the bottom* so far as specs go.
There's much better phones to be had for the same price. Lets hope its UX is enough to redeem the high price tag and general bad press that Nokia has been getting recently.

Please stop... moreso u think the iphone 4g gonna have a better spec?there is no way for that to happen....apple always sell a phone that have a big step to improve so that they can launch another new version very soon by a small improvement and by having big publicity to get a enormous income becoz there are alot of apple fans that are crazy with apple and collecting apple product.....
Ps:apple is selling quality product and they have alot of cool feature on the phone and they have their own app store with millions of app so although he dont have all those spec but their app is almost everything u can imagine....for myself n8 is more pratical phone and apple is more like a phone to play with.....
Hopefully the s^3 will get those app inventor to create a more creative app for them and make it a perfect phone.....

I think for the price of 470 € , N8 has a lot of competitors, lastest phones of the market they all shoot 720p video rec, who needs 12mp camera when the 8mp is enough 4 some pics on the go. Symbian 3 has a lot to recover from the android , Iphone , wm6+wm7 blast through markets. All people are crazy of Apps, free or paid , if symbian 3 comes on the market with 10-20.000 apps maybe will have some market share. Until then all will go with HTC, Sammy, Motorola, and maybe SE....Nokia lost a lot of people by screwing them with the same cpu and ram in all phones , all have the same specs and incridible prices. Sure sell for 500+ € 4 a phone and you will have a lot of costumers. Why i should buy N8 and not the HTC HD2, or Galaxy S , Iphone 4G , same price better specs, and tons of apps....For the fat americans the N900 is 500 $ that means 350€ and for the europeans 600€...Sure we speak bussines, like the fins . I think ill switch to other companies maybe HD2 or HD3 must come same price....Ciao
