Why the hell whatsapp is cracking down upon older os people! It's supporting android 2.3+ such an antique system but cannot support a relatively new OS like BB10. Other choices are ok but dropping support for BB is not done considering the fact the many people would have bought a passport or a classic recently. It's this high minded thinking that makes these companies die a sad end. Atleast at the very least they could have allowed the app to stay on all those platforms they are shutting down, without adding new features. Guess it's time other messaging apps are given a time to shine and show whatsapp it's not the King of the Hill.

P.S learn from Apple. That company may be high handed themselves but you boot up a iPhone 3GS even today and you can install apps on it as Apple allowed old gen iPhone users to download versions that last supported the old mobile.

Also, I think BB should make s third party app on their own, after all, it's very popular. That's one way of supporting the users of the platform. Microsoft does it, even if some apps look half baked, but at least they write it and the users have some options

Telegram doesn't exist on BB10, and BB10 is a dead platform that no one cares about anymore.
                    Even BlackBerry abandoned BB10

                            (To the BB supporters)
                            Guys guys guys, chill.
                            Chill please. Relax.
Tell me, what can WhatsApp do if BB themselves are concentrating on Android phones. What can WhatsApp do if the news from Bb is that the platform will be supported, but no news of a new phone with BB10 platform?
Anyways, all you Bb guys, am sure you all know that WhatsApp can be side loaded on to the Passport from Google Play via Snap client

The worst move ever taken by Whatsapp.Droping support for BB OS is going to drop down users.

i know its harsh but even blackberry is making android os powered devices. that was a hint that thier own os is about to be dropped from the computing ecosystem. this could open doors to other messaging apps, should be fun to observe. :)
