I had many phones over the years and have to say Nokia is the best. iPhone is for jetta driving people who think everything they see advertized on TV must be good! Nokia has the best battery life and will last the longest and is simple to use. To all you iPhone lovers: what happens when your battery dies, how do you replace it?? :)

Can anyone tell me what exactly is wrong with Symbian, as compared to other mobile OS? I have no problem with it. No one has really explained why the other OS are better. All I read are, Android rocks, OSX rocks, etc... Someone outline all three(or four, including WinMo) OS and their advantages and disadvantages. Maybe GSMarena could do that.

i wouldn't say that this is a 12mp 5800. i have 5800 and the touch screen response is ok, definitely not iphone like, and by looking at the video the N8 seems to be iphone like in terms of touch screen. Also, the interface has been totally redesigned, it looks much more convenient and more useful now than before.

Oh c'mon Nokia. Is that really all you've got? Even your spokesperson/representative doesn't sound convinced. He even seems unsure as to what exactly is Nokia's salient point on the phone. Do something that shakes the world! Whatever we just saw on your vid is really NOTHING. You thought we didn't know? It's so obviously sub-par to competing alternatives!

Only a insane like you compare the phone camera to DSLR. And the DSLR you are saying are bulky and hard to carry. For your information N8 is the first camera phone which can directly rival digital cams at same mp.. Its picture quality is better than most of the Digicams priced at 250 euro. And the DSLR you are saying costs more than this phone and can only takes photos.. What I already tens of time said Nokia haters dont use their brain and posts silly and aweful comments.

You need to have either a decent quality DSLR or DC to get the complete range of shots from Portrait, Macro, Landscape etc, etc...
A silly little camera on a phone, will never be able to achieve the results of a DSLR or DC, because it doesn't have the necessary internals to do the job or doing aperture correction & to get the necessary DOF, it's physically impossible.
A phone camera is only suitable for cheap, disposable holiday snaps, nothing more, nothing less. So please don't try and tell me about photography.
The N8 is a phone of mediocre quality one with a cheap camera inside with a fixed aperture, with god damned awful CA's & poor colours & a phone with a awful OS, which is years behind the competition.
