AnonD-442781, 06 Mar 2016Touch wiz on the s7 is leaner than the lg ui.No, G4 is cleaner than S7 skin, and G5 skin is cleaner than G4.

Does TouchWiz lag? No, since S5 it is smooth, but after S5 and S6 have got a nice looking TouchWiz, the S7 got a Huawei look = horrible.

I'm not a sammy fan, nor an LG one, but clearly the S7 is superior to the G5.
Not to mention how UGLY is the G5's back..

honestly i hate Samsung for touch-wiz until the s6 comes out. it is the fastest and the smoothest touch-wiz ever, so we can only imagine the newer one. that only if its on the exynos version and dump the snapdragon.

Camera module doesn't improve camera quality but makes the phone more than twice as thick. While there is a chance later phones will be more useful, as it is now it is hard to argue it matches the s7. As it is, very few people would genuinely make use of the modular aspect in a meaningful way.

For me it is a very nice feature, which can be very useful, and considering that this is only the first generation, it opens the door for many new features for the future generations, but for this one as well, why not.

The LG G5 brings something different to the table this year which is attractive to some people. I personally think the novalty of the modules will become old and more of a PITA the longer people have them. Who wants to carry an accessory bag for their phones? Not I. As for the removable battery....I'm soo over that crap too. 80% of the places I go,I can plug in somewhere if need be or on the way. If I can't I have an external battery. No different from having to carry the spare with you. LG didn't bring anything to the table that interests me and if they keep to the modular design next year their sales will most likely tank.

Even the LG g5 is better than the s7 edge in my opinion,i think this is not fair because LG g5 shoul be compared with the s7 regular (not the edge),since the edge is like a plus version of the s7, plus the people voting didn't even touch either phone yet ,so how they know which one is better ,that's just my opinion, thanks.

This features ended up never been used. Thank the god now samsung has learned their lesson and toned down the touchwiz they now focus to a more useful efficient features and focus on hardware

Of course stock Android is still smoother with less issues but the experience (for me) of Touchwiz is just so much better. I like customization since I come from using Android from before Nexus phones existed (HTC Magic (I still miss the trackball lol!) and Galaxy S1).

AnonD-504676, 06 Mar 2016WTF. S7 Edge wins? It must be joking. S7 Edge has ... moreLaggy? You haven't used the new touchwiz starting with the Galaxy S5. It is super smooth, even smoother on S6.
The new touchwiz on the S6 looks awesome, way better than any other Android customized OS, and way better than stock Android.
The only real valid point you have is this one: "No IR BLASTER" - I am truly sad for this one as I got used to it.

Btw, I have a G4 and an S6, used the G4 for 7 months, got fed up with a few issues it has so I got an S6. The G2 had issues and G3 too (I won't be buying LG phones anymore because I am always disappointed with some things). I am loving the S6 more than the G4. The apps in Touchwiz are super well done, look really good, and have some really good functionalities (they're also snappier). The IR Blaster is actually useful on the S6 while on the G4 you have to align it to the TV's receiver or else it doesn't work. On the S6 I just point it anywhere and it works.
Only manual mode in LG's stock camera app is better than Pro mode in the S6. Though I prefer to use Samsung's camera app in the S6 as it's way snappier and has faster focus at all times. LG's UI is quite ugly (other than camera). The colors chosen are ugly and are dead and just badly designed. Seems like the G5 will also have an ugly UI, and very white.

I'm not surprise either just by basing it on the homepage's Top 10 Daily Interest CHART. I think that ppl punished G5 for its huge bezels, a step back from LG's former strengths, very small battery capacity fir a 2.5k 5.5 incher and of course the cheap looks its back has.

Yeah...well, S7 edge might be a better phone (though I will wait with that opinion till consumer version reviews will come out), but G5 scored decently, 50-50 is not that far off, which looks like Samsung may have a problem with #1 spot in 2-3 years. To me S2 and S3 was the best years for them. Those phones smashed competition to bits. Ever since then Samsung got a bit lazy, taking sales for granted, which can be a dangerous game (Nokia in the past did the same, and look where it ended). S7 wins in the poll, but it also wins one more "prize", that nobody mentions. At the moment it's the most expensive phone in the world (I'm not counting those ridiculous gold plated versions and limited editions), and that's never a good thing. And there's a £100 difference between G5 and S7, £539 vs £639, which will increase in the next 2-3 months as LG will probably go below 500 and Samsung stay the same. To me, if you're putting that price tag on the phone, you better make sure it's a masterpiece and flawless phone. And Samsung just don't cut it in my eyes, and neither LG to be honest. I haven't seen "wow phone" this year yet, so I'm still waiting.
