I own a Note 5 from Telus, but it is unlocked. My cell phone has not yet been updated to Android Marshmallow. Samsung phones have beastly specs but are outperformed by LG , Nexus and Apple phones. Samsung cannot even optimize their OS.Good bye Samsung. I will never buy a Samsung cell phone again.

That's the one thing I hate about non-nexus devices: Depending on the carrier's will to update or not the OS...

Installed mm on my s6 edge+ and a couple of friends s6 and works perfectly the Ui is so fast and most of all my bluetooth is amazing I have gear s and constantly getting disconnected hasn't happened once on mm and the distance I can go before Bluetooth disconnects is about 100 feet comparer education to lollipops 4 feet.

AnonD-497261, 06 Mar 2016Is that why my Nexus 9 LTE scores 100,000+ on Antutu (v6.0)... morehow small is your nexus 6 ? add some launcher on any phone and antutu will be boosted. nexus has less software that slowers it, yet. but that doesnt mean the hardware is up to date. just like apple units. its all software, not hardware. im running 4gb ram, octa core cpu, 8 core gpu, great and fast 16mp cam, cat 9 lte with over 400Mb dl on lte. if my note 5 was with nexus os, and max 1080p screen resolution, it would beat that nexus 6 any day. im going for s7, bc of the screen size and the hardware, but do tell me a nexus that is better in hardware specs and max 5.2".

people always complain about updates infact its only stupid ppl!!!!
Marshmallow is released means u can install it manually if u dont want to wait.
Go to sammobile.com create acoount and download the marshmallow for your device model
install it using odin its the official firmware you will not loose your warranty.
the only difference is country firmware my device firmware was dubai now i installed combodia firmware there is no difference once dubai version is release in sammobile i will replace it simple.
Some lazy countries takes lot of time so u cant blame samsung...
Always ignore apple fanboy comments stupid will be stupid u cant change them just ignore!!!
And stop bullshiting about bechmark scores !!! its all marketing stuff nuthing more. the most importnt thing is battery life which is awsome in note 5 where as i see apple fans always looking for charger in my company during working hour!!!

Zenodroid, 05 Mar 2016nexus has crap hardware and even bigger size.Is that why my Nexus 9 LTE scores 100,000+ on Antutu (v6.0)?? The Nexus 9 is almost 3 years old, and Samsung's top tier hardware is JUST NOW starting to break 100,000 (BARELY).

But fanboys will always whine about benchmarks not being representative of "real world" performance, so let me go ahead and verify that I have no loyalty to any one brand, and have used every type of device from every conceivable manufacturer, and my Nexus 9 SPANKS THEM ALL (so far)!! I'm sure as we get deeper into 2016 that someone will have something that tops it, but as of now, I haven't seen it.

Just because us Nexus device owners never have to wait for updates doesn't mean you have to get all crazy and start talking nonsense. Envy wont get you anywhere but pissed-offs-ville, so dial it down a notch. While some Nexus devices have been sub-par, the vast majority have not, and one or two of 'em have shattered the glass ceiling completely.

Let's face reality though . . it isn't really fair to compare Nvidia's Tegra (Denver), K1, & X1 SoC's with Qualcomm's Snapdragon, or Samsung's Exynos SoCs'. Nvidia's dual-core Denver SoC in the Nexus 9 beats Qualcomm and Samsung's OCTA-CORE SoC's like a red-headed step child who just got caught stealing money out of mommy's purse. Nvidia's SoC's are on a different level . . and having a 192-core Kepler GPU doesn't hurt either. ;-)

I'm not a Qualcomm or Exynos hater . . quite the contrary. I'm still running "Old Faithful", the Snapdragon 800, in one of my daily drivers (LG G2), and probably will for another year, but after owning a Nexus 9 for a minute, I have experienced the power of Nvidia's SoC solutions, and though unfortunate, this may very well be my last Nvidia powered device for a long, LONG time since they don't seem to be focusing on the mobile market these days. But when they do it, they do it big, and I consider it a privilege to be using a Tegra powered device.

Bottom line: You are entitled to your own OPINIONS, but you are NOT entitled to your own FACTS.

                      :-)

You can bitch and moan all day long about how Nexus devices suck, and that you hate them, and blah blah blah blah . . but i ain't gonna sit back and say nothing when you post 100% factually incorrect bullsh!t such as your statement that Nexus devices have inferior or low-end hardware.

You can be a dumb fanboy and talk sh!t all you want, but don't post lies. Take that sh!t somewhere else.

(BTW, to those Nexus 9 owners I've seen in the comments complaining about ghost-touches and dead spots, I just don't know what y'all are talking about, and in my humble opinion, you should contact HTC or Google and exercise your warranty rights, because clearly you received a defective unit. That's what I would do if my Nexus 9 was affected by those issues. By not doing anything except bitch and whine on the internet, you're depriving yourself of an incredible device and a performance experience that will blow you away!!)

However a question, who has not done his duty as all these updates to be completed in a reasonable time? Telus ? Samsung ? Google ( android 6) ?
                          It's hard to guess?..:))
