And yet people are still buying Samsung phones. Go figure. Oh well, this is actually good for both company and carrier.
1. For people that don't care, company save money
2. For people that care, company make more money as people will upgrade to the new models.

Don't know about Telus but Samsung has been lazy enough to not seed Mashmallow update to contract free S6 Edge in India.
