Very good phone with Samsungs butter like smooth screen and Googles OS I will buy it but why the hell do us people in the UK always get ripped off and charged more for everything. Every country should pay the same.

Well, it sure has not been released in Europe yet. But the interesting thing is that some countries may get it cheaper then others (and by nearly 100 EUR cheaper):

the screen are nice, but the material is very cheap looking, the back casing break so easy. looks like a cheap plastic china toys.
i guess better go for iphone3gs, don't waste your money on this galaxy S, and price are unreasonable...
and there will be so much option and other brand will be available on june and july, with good price..

have you talked to samsung and they told you they wont support the phone? can you post a link that states they will not support the device? hmm?

the omnia was great once you turned off the touch wiz stuff. then samsung did nothing for 18 months to move phones forward. i replaced my omnia with an x10, i just couldnt buy a phone with touchwiz thinking

absolutely amazing phone.......really fast, i would need a plastic hardcase cover as it is a bit too light !!

1. poor camera resolt. for the top phone of a company 5 meg is poor. even my old i8910 has better.
2. poor support.. if it werent for 3rd party f/w hackers the 8910 wouldnt even be useable..
3. no flash. what the heck are they thinking.
4. nokia no better my n97 sits on the shelf .. utter piece of crap. was repaired 3 times and gps still doesnt work after it gets hot and antennna starts separating. at least i filed a cc claim and got money back.
5. also have nexus one also not great camera, poor signal strength, and crappy tinny mono speaker..
guess i will keep looking

I agree with Sagittarius too! Samsung is the company that has improve the hardware of mobile phones more than any other, the last 4-5 years. It's very ignorant that the annoying fanboys don't admit this! If there weren't Nokia (& Motorola) until 2005/6 and Samsung from 2006 until today our phones would be 5kg with 0.1MP, 1.5" and 500mAh battery, and of course without smart OS....
Samsung into 2 years managed to pass fron TFT LCD displays to AMOLED and then to Super AMOLED while the others can't even make TFT displays. Also is No1 in processor market with about 40%. And when Samsung was making Ultra phones other had phones with potato-style! :P

I agree with you,so whats the point?There are just too many ignorant haters that don't see that looking at the specs the Galaxy S is indeed the best phone out there.You can argue about the style,but you can't argue about the specs.
