Simple truth is apple aint top of that list, and the third ti second is not even a conversation, and some samsungs will have the apple benchmark kllin snapdragon in....its qualcomm and samsung who are smilin here, even despite the apple loving writers apologetic for them. The tiiiiimes are a changin.

What is the benefit of having such power in a phone? This is like having a QHD display in a 5.5 inch display. Good to meassure d*cks but not real use appart from fast battery draining.
What we need to is better optimize all OS for battery lasting (3-5 days as minimum).

These results are averages and it only takes one 820 powered phone with a low resolution display to bump up that average so it's not really a true reflection. Even so, stellar work from Qualcomm. The Exynos was THE Android chip to beat last year by a country mile, and for Qualcomm to catch up and supposedly surpass them in one generation is good going.

Comes bad times for S810 devices, this year is about battery lasting and its not just about processor.

What phone are on that sd820? If it's a 1080p phone, it's useless. Bc exynos is on 2k screens, that kills a lot of score on antutu. Meizu pro 5 showed that against edge + and note 5. And, rooted phone with custom roms, also boost the score. So, those scores are useless.

Apple will easily cheat and put FHd or even 720p display to trick simple people who believes in benchmarks. You can't really tell so much about benchmarks... Saw s7 and I wasn't so surprised about latest SOC performance... let's hope it is because of toucheizz and qhd. FHD pones might fix my opinion

That's why it's at odds with the tests that all the hands on reviews had, which had the gpu about equal and cpu on exynos was better.
Personally I'm waiting for a comparison between the two versions of the s7.

I have a Note 4 (waiting for the GN6) and the S7 benchmark is 4x higher.
In real life It is quicker but the differences wouldn't be that noticeable.

A9 has 16nm dual core, SD820 has 14nm Quad core, exynos 8890 has 14nm Octa.
From the looks of it, they've been created using almost the same process...
