My goodness.. I juz got my hands on the w900i and now this??!??!? was torn between the w900 and p990 >.< I previously owned a p800 and it was starting to be outdated.. I was looking for an SE fone, touch screen but not the p series.. arrgghhh... I'm loving this fone already.. but I must say, without the camera, I'm having second thoughts on it... bring on the mp3, camera and TOUCH SCREEEN pls SE!!!

This phone looks really nice, ashame though they haven`t thought of putting a camera on it. I think this phone is going to be a smash hit.

there's a no need for a camera here. its made for business users in mine. if u want a camera the p990 will be the perfect fit.

we all know that s.e. is coming with some exeptional technology on cellphones, but in this case, the phone needs some taste in having a camera(at least a 3 megapixels)+ a video camera ofcourse to utilise that bigscreen! also there is the issue of using operating systems from Symbian. the phone that i use right bow is a nokia tha runs under symbian, the phone is always attacked by viruses coz i use my phone's bluetooth to download or transmit some data! we dont know maybe this new symbian software might not be prone to viruses, bt i still believe that the software must be changed! on that phone!, why cant you add up with something that would replace T9 predictive text! something like, on my smss,to write i just speak or say something it writes whatever i've just said, you speak it writes!that will make life easier!!!

it seems like a wonderful phone but a lack of camera downplays its role as the media moghul.good to see SE bringing in touchscreen in models other than the P series.

How nice! but lack of camera! I'll wait for SEW1100 model which has a 3pixel camera, 12GB flash memory and runs on Symbian9.5 OS.

If Sony Ericsson says it can store up to 4,000 songs, I hope the phone functionality and any other features do not slow down when memory is nearly full.

Nice new phone i presume! 4GB!! why Nokia is sleeping? why N91 aint out yet? (atleast i did'nt saw it yet) They cud've done something better with all this WIDTH of the fone! :) otherwise..by reading wat u guys got here.. Seems like THE NEXT BIG THING FRM sonyEricsson :)

Also like to add that I use my w800's camera and mp3 player equally, music occupies the majority of my external memory and ive only had the phone about 2.5 months yet ive taken over 600 photos, thats about 240 photos a month and 8 photos a day. To me a camera on the phone is very important. :(

The fact that there is no camera disgusts me. I have the w800 and upon hearing about this phone anticipated a step up in the camera, 3MP+ seeing as there is a motorolla (i think its a motoralla could be wrong) with 3mp cam already. Its all good that there could be an added extension for this feature, but to me that seems like an unnecessary expense. No doubt its clearly a hot phone, but the lack of a camera, pretty much a standard these days, is disappointing. Its like a regression in some respects.
