Android 1.6 is old hat now, so why are SE releasing a future phone with it on? this is one of the reasons SE aren't doing well recently.

I agree that the andriod system is a mess! It's like we are rats and google keep experimenting on us. Please people don't get me wrong, andriod is an amazing os indeed but it still lacks many important features that symbian and wm already had from ages. Don't you agree?
And the way google is pushing it and upgrading their os just made a mess! Look at the smartphones and how they have gone crazy running after every os that google releases. What made it even worse is that people are being like sheeps and all they care about is the latest os from google?!!
They forgot about the hardware the features the ui and customizations from the brand they desire and it's only give us the latest os from google! Give them a break will ya.
What really makes me sad is to see most people running after anything new like sheeps without even using their brains to think or realize what's really going on, this is exactly what happened with the isheep and now it's happening again with google. Please think ! That's the reason god created for us a brain.
The best thing about SE is that they totally ignored google and they are just living in their own world lol. This is what I liked about se they are not sheeps! However, I must admit that they need to speed up the process and shipping andriod 1.6 is not acceptable anymore. Wake up se we love you for your strong personality but this doesn't mean that you should stand behind.

ths fone is just wow......i waz going for th x10 but arrrrrrrrrr to much for me to handle....if ths has 3.5 or slightly above ths thn wil b my nxt target phone...n hope thy hav more colours tho xP

The X10 looks fantastic!! And although it was a little big regarding it's size, however, a lot of people bought it because of it's looks. So just imagine an x10 with a 3.2 or 3.5 inch screen and also runs smooth and fast as the X10 mini!! One word Just super! And one more thing if this is real and SE manages to make it have a better audio quality and external speakers that the x10, all I can say is thank you se you really made my day.

Not bad actually. The X10 is too large for my taste so probably this phone would do just fine. But the recycling of the design has to stop here. Otherwise, there wouldn't be much differentiation between their devices and this leads to consumer fatigue over their models and decreased interest on the brand.

Im guesing its just gonna plug up the holes that the big X10 has left. 3.2 or 3.5 screen size, coz thats a segment in the smatfone market these days. And im hoping they will throw in fm radio and the video call camera. As for screen, is it too much to hope for amoled?

By the way guys regarding the designs I think SE has the best designs ever!! And I'm sure a lot of people agree with me even though some of you are not se fans.
The thing is that if you have noticed se only have similar designs in andriod handsets that's it! Till now they are sticking to the same design of the x10 which by the way is one of the best designs ever in the mobile history!
But if we speak about other operating systems like symbian, java or windows mobile, the designs are still super! And don't tell me what about the vivaz and vivaz pro because they are different concepts! For different people.
Just look at the yari, aino, satio, vivaz, x2, x10
All of them run with a different operating systems and they still have some wonderful desgins.

It's slow & inadequate, its file handling routines are to say the least pathetic & written by amateurs. I for one will never touch another Symbian OS powered phone again, nor will I buy a Nokia again.
If SE go down the Symbian route then I'll ditch them too. If I could find a decent specced WinMo powered phone I'd probably go for that, but I can't.

That's a china replica, you can see that it's missing like all the design element and line details of of SE and X10 series phone. And by the way, SE phones are designed and prototyped in Sweden, marketed by Sony and manufactured in China. So unless SE have first officially announced this phone to be made, there is a slim to none chance that it's already on chinese websites. Look at the earspeaker part, that's as china clone a phone can get.

can't wait for this model to be announced I'm sure that it'll be great! to be honest most people will not worry too much about the os version, as long as they cutomise etc which se do. stills does what most people need and want from a phone.
