So basically, Apple is putting out a phone that has features that were standard over two years ago. Nokia N95 (2007) had a 5mp Camera as did the SE K850 (2007). Video calling (which hardly anyone uses) has been standard in 3G phones for over 7 years, and hardly anyone uses it.
I might also add that file transfer is of course restricted thru iTunes, which is just rediculous. The only advantage that Apple has over it's competitors is their fantastic marketing campaigns, which at the present no other phone company is able to match.

TBH as much as apple push out their products and try to please the masses, theres always nokia fanboys and all that jazz around the corner.
if you have an amazing camera, all singing all dancing phone but a proper shitty OS then your not going to get it.
the OS is one of the most important features of a phone nowadays

this sucks big time..video call on iphone4 is also saying no videocall..pathetic...
Videocalling using an Iphone 4G has the dumbness criteria
1. 2 parties should own Iphone 4G
2. should be In Wifi Reception..
In Nokia Phones Esp. supports Videocalling
1.You can Videocall someone using nokia videocall capable fon in 3g network..Ex.if you want to see what is you doing you can videocall here even she is using SAMSUNG OMNIA and you are using N70.
2.you can see someone what he is doing even his using a pc and you video chatting him using your Nokia N95 by Using Fring Application even you are in 2g,3g and wifi Network..
3. I bet APPLE 4G cant use the REAR MAIN CAMERA when doing FACETIME..because in Nokia Phone you can use either the front or the main camera when doing videocall

I hate how uneducated so many people are in this forum. Look at the features you actually use and don't go off specs. The screen is fabulous, not giving into the AMOLED marketing, the only the benefit to LED is the contrast ratio, but in return you get over saturation, poor accuracy for touch and a completely unusable screen in the light. If that's your thing, go buy a samsung. Second SD slots are bad, they save the memory all over the place and slow down the funtion of the phone, give me internal any day. Third Nokia has this, Samsung has that, Nokia and Samsung make phone for children like you who pay a premium for Bluetooth 3.0, when it is completely irrelevant with current standards. It was like dual core processors before software was even developed to make use of it, irrelevant. Fourth you don't need 8-12MP, think about it, 1280x720 (HD) = 921 600, which isn't even ONE MP :O Your theory got shot in the foot there, you got fooled by another gimmick. Now to the real issues with this phone. The design is stunning, iOS is my favourite, powerful processor that not only is 1Ghz, it was designed purely to suit the OS, not to go into 1000 different devices, so it should be powerful. Biggest cons for me are lack of noise cancellation in video, why have good quality shots with terrible sound, Micro-Sim - What if my phone needed repair what do I use spare? And at current video chat is really pointless (not that I'd use it anyway, most people don't it just opens you up to be seen at your most vulnerable i.e a client calls you have to answer but your not suited up...). I will be getting this phone, it's better than anything on the market, you still can't beat the UI and logic of iOS and with some modern day novelties and slick design it is the way to go and will outsell everything as usual.

i used to be an iphone fanboy.. but this one, is really disappointing in every aspect, except the retina display.

(Wow! very creative name! duh! what do you think it will be called)
- they say that this phone has a lot of "new" features and advancements!
(yeah! when compared to the iPhone 3GS!)
- I would have to say that i like the design better with it's flat back and it being thinner, the metal frame frame, and hardened glass as well..
- This phone uses a microsim which will be the norm for simcards in the near future so it's okay.
- uses a 1Ghz processor (nothing new.. ehem! Snapdragon)
- comes in 16 and 32G variants.. (where's the 64G?? and as you may know, no microsd slot still!)
- has a second mic for voice clarity (nice..)
- uses 960x640 resolution screen which is the best as of now for mobile phones.. (1 point for apple there.. but i don't think it will match up with the 4in 480x800 Super AMOLED screen of the Samsung Galaxy S)
- had an "upgrade" to 5MP camera! (NICE!! phones had 5MP on it about 4 YEARS AGO!! C'mon APPLE!!)
- finally placed a flash on their camera.. (not even XENON huh?!)
- can record 720p videos at 30 fps! (DEFENITELY a new feature!! NOT!!.. around 10-15 phones can already do this.. but nice tap to focus feature though..)
- has a frontfacing camera for videocalls!! (WOW!! now here's really something new!! around 4 YEARS AGO!! and their not even ready about it! you can't even make videocalls to other 3g phones!! just iPhone4 to iPhone 4!! and only over Wi-Fi!! Crap..)
- so Applefanboys saying this is or will be the best phone ever?!
think again.. EHEM!! NOKIA N8!! SAMSUNG GALAXY S!! sorry guys. this 2 phones here are much better than your iPhone 4.. end of story..
