but main point is, using cases on edge phones covers up the edge of screen. it doesnt improve the functionality of the phone, its just a gimmick. but the s7 is fine with a flat screen even though the edge is nicer to look at. but still a gimmick and prone to damage

Samsung came out with the curved display. It made the phone bigger with useless side pieces on the display that make the phone harder to hold. Total gimmick bs
Xiaomi came out with the curved glass back. It made the phone sleeker and much easier to hold even with glass on the back. Samsung copied that into the Galaxy Note.

It is the first time a MI brand phone has sd support meaning Mi Note 2 could have the same thing. Xiaomi only said their flagships won't have sd support like MI5 because sd cards are slow. Maybe if Google's Android N gets something to make sd cards faster Xiaomi will adopt it and start rolling out sd support for flagships

People really have their info messed up
Samsung makes retarded curved displays. Xiaomi started the trend of curved back glass with the Mi Note and Samsung copied that for their Note. Curved displays make the phone harder to hold and are pretty useless gimmick. Curved backs make the phone much easier to hold and give it a new flagship feel. That's why Samsung used it for their huge ass Note phablet

If you haven't been paying attention to the encoded location or IP or encoded IP location or whatever that is to MY reply of MY earlier comment, you may have solely noticed how I replied in a similar fashion. Oh yeah! I'm so definitely stupid to hit submit too early the first time that I needed to reply to myself the full composition I was intending to convey in before anyone misinterprets my earlier comment. Kudos to you for not realizing the comment and the reply was made by the same person.
Pronouns could be a sucker at times. It is just about now that I realize the 'It' in my second sentence could potentially mislead a reference for not specifying that 'It' is referring to the former (...curved display of G Flexes...). Which means it is that of the G Flex's curved display that resembles or replicates modern curved display TVs, just in a portable handheld form that you can literally carry around or 'gimmick' around when attached to a compatible VR
