The G Flex has a different curve. instead of the sides of the phone curving towards the back of it, the top and bottom curves toward you and the middle is further back. vertical like this front-> )

AnonD-263286, 12 Mar 2016That would make Galaxy Edge less unique thus less attractiv... moreThey can only take benefits from selling curved displays to other OEMs. As I know at the moment their display division is the only one which is producing this kind of displays (I mean real mass production, not some fancy test samples). Also don't forget that Samsung Mobile is part of one huge company and I don't think they can influence other divisions in such way to forbid them to sell to other smartphone manufacturers.

Samsung always use its technologies on their devices first then sell it to other companies: AMOled screens, Camera sensors so I don't see the point. There is people that want curved screen and not have Touchwizz for example. And by the way no one forces you to buy other curved screen phones so just deal with it.

Curved edges, would replace illuminated four sides, maybe multi coloured glow. It's all nonsense! All metal sleek is standard with executive look. Hope N6 would follow this tradition.

This curve screen thing is totally a useless piece of gimmick junk.
Until todate I have no idea what's the benefit of use of that curve display. Perhaps those edge apps? Hahaha.
It makes the phone more vulnerable to drops and cracks.
Maybe Samsung invented this gimmick display and call it innovation.

That would make Galaxy Edge less unique thus less attractive and lowers its value. Samsung shouldn't do that just to make little more money.

By the way, what is the benefit of the edge screen that warrants such a large premium?
