Only shows how overpriced Apple really is. Sony is making a good quality phones. Screens, cameras, bild quality, sound, battery life - all very good. They really deserve more attention. Before some Samsung fanboy is gonna try to bite my head off...yeah...they make good phones too, but compare the price, and then speak to me.

If you want quality and durability, go with Sony. Not to mention they have one of the best software updates out there with one of the cleanest vanilla android and very little bloatware.

HTC deserves this. This is what happens when you make an Android phone with cheap hardware with costly price tag. HTC One m8 costs [approx] $446.495 US Dollar in my place.

"doing better than HTC" is hardly an achievement. If HTC ever wants to be competitive again, it needs to start listening to its customers, new and existing. People will buy what they want, not what's available (especially not when the choice is so huge).

Sony is going to bankrupt soon. They no longer have the budget to produce high end flagships and thus will no longer produce anymore Z series phone.
Even their X series phones are just mediocre average phones which promises no future Android updates.
Maybe they begin targeting 3rd or 4th world countries like Nigeria, Somalia, Papua New Guinea these kind of countries.
No one is getting interested in Sony phones anymore.

After the updates to lollipop, it can't connect to a network
Well wifi works
I searched n found thousands of people with the same complaint on various Xperia models
Still no official statement by sony
Apparently for some people downgrading to kitkat solved the issue

While samsung are nailing it in the flagship segment, they're obviously failing to match the bang for buck that the competition puts out on the mid range and budget segment. This is apparent in their A series line up for 2016. While the phones are good. Their price tags are a turn off. That's why people prefer to get chinese branded phones instead. Same performance but much cheaper.

Of course they do better than HTC...HTC is the new sammycrap company, make a lot of phones and no one sell's, float the market with "all the same looking" devices and confuse the consumers!
Sony are better than Sammy and HTC togheter...Sony is Sony, word of quality made phones and not cheap like sammy!
Hope one day Sony put IR Blaster on theyr phones to someday i move to theyr phones...but now i keep m GF2. :)
