Microsoft officially announced W10M today. Install Upgrade Advisor from Windows store to see if your device is eligible.
Sorry guys. Microsoft has axed lot of older devices from getting the new update. Devices like 520 and 525 (the one I use) are not eligible. Guess I have to upgrade to a 535.

Windows 10 is released ow. You need to install upgrade advisor app from the store and check for updates.

windows 10 mobile available in India.
Steps:
1. Install upgrade advisor app
2. check for upgrade availability. If your phone is supported, it will advise you to check for updates via settings>>phone update
3. go to phone update in settings and there you go!!
Good luck.

I honestly got tired of resetting my Lumia 950 because of this bug or that glitch, so I went back to Android/iOS. The last two times I got an OS update I ended up doing an OS reset. It is a shame, with such superior hardware that the front end OS could not bring it's own device to glory. The other item I could not wrap my mind around very easily was how the value of Microsoft's very own flagship product diminished so much in so little time. In less than 4 months in the market and you cannot even trade the device back in for more than a 25 dollar credit. Private sell is 300-400 dollars or even less for once what was a 600 dollar phone to start.

Installed took over an hour, as it booted it said it had implemented some good changes but doesn't tell you what they are... At a a glance start menu looks a little different I don't really see anything else, of course this is a desktop computer prolly more differences on a mobile machine.
