Nokia should completely switch to Cortex A8s for all of their mid-range devices. The Nokia N9 has a Snapdragon (FINALLY A DECENT PROCESSOR), but I don't know about the graphics. Nokia better put a dedicated graphics chip in the C9 if they want to compete with the big boys.

They should have made the backsite flusch with the camera-module. That would make for a larger (and hence more powerfull) battery and would make it much better looking.
I think these designers really ought to go back to school. I have a Samsung Omnia 1 which has a completely flush back and it looks really good and has a large 1440mAh battery which lasts for 2 days (normal use). Which is still amazing today.

your view on my comment depends on how you interpret something that is written, which you clearly did incorrectly
I agree that the N8 is thick in comparison but isn't a thick phone. It is average,something which I personally prefer because I enjoy the feel of a solid phone.

the N8 is less than 13mm in w... moreDon't be freaking defensive... 12.9mm is considered thick nowadays... and for people who tell people to check on the specs first, well the 12.9mm does not include the slight protruding part of the camera, so 12.9mm although is less than 13mm, it's still 12.9mm. Apart from E72, nokias are usually thick compared to the competition.
A few eg. HTC Desire (11.9mm), Nexus One(11.5mm), Samsung Galaxy S i9000 (9.9mm), iPhone 4 (9.3mm), iPhone3GS (12.3mm)... So is N8 thick? Yes, in comparison to the competition, but on other fronts, N8 is still a pretty good phone!

the N8 is less than 13mm in width, and some of that is the camera area protruding which means the thickness is even less, meaning it is really around 12mm according to where you will be holding the phone

Looks ugly! Its been 3 years since iphone was released, still Nokia unable to make a decent looking mobile (the only exceptions are N79 and E72). The N8 looks like a 1960s automobile. I wish Nokia makes losses and the shareholders force a change in management strategy.

hi,
the days of nokia dominated mobile phone are long gone. Nokia had slept through while others went on to read costumess mind and captured market percentages.
Nokia is still not able to understand the pulse of users. It has also abandoned blank whites as themes in its phones leading to poor visibility in sunlight.

Danuab, 12 Jun 2010no xenon no fun :(Xenon is AWESOME, but there is a problem: if you want to take a picture at night on a car, you can't because of that! :( I had a SE K800, and I know that I am talking about. LED flash is better if you like to take photos at night on cars.
