The general rule is "Don't fix it if it ain't broken".

I don't understand why many people are so keen to update their software when the current one is running just fine.
Now after the March security patch, battery drains faster than it originally was! LoL

Just got the March update on my Galaxy S7. Now all apps I've moved to SD card show as not installed. Continues after shutdown and restart and after removing and reinserting SD card. Card is mounted and files look to be all present. Anyone else seeing this?

AT&Ts update is also there. Phone loses battery sooner on data after this update. There has to be another fix for sure.

All of you fail to forget that its the telecom company that does the update, they control the software. If there is a security update to android or touch UI, it is highly likely that the same fix will work with most current phones. The telecom company must decide if they want to upgrade their latest phones, or put there workforce on a old phone project that affects fewer customers.

My S5 which released alongside HTC M8 and Sony Xperia Z3 have still yet to receive Android Mashmallow update whereas the M8 and Z3 have both received official Mashmallow since Dec 2015.

When I went to Samsung service centre and ask why it take light years to receive MM? I got yelled by Samsung staff!
