i brought an iphone 4 here in australia and travelling to england soon. i want to know if i can buy a pre pay sim card for it so it wont cost me a fortune here in australia when i get home.

Sim Free means that you are not bound to a contract with any network. So, you can use sim card of any network you want. But iPhone4 needs micro sim.
Anyone can tell me is company unlocked iPhone4 launched or going to be launched in US?

Not Anymore.. its sucks trying to portray an Image that leads..But The facts Decline their claims that they lead the market to poor sucks items... will you spend for something that will cost you much?..

630 euros???? Are you kidding? and know what? the 3Gs will be sold for 500 or 499 euros even with the new coming, please Appel couldn t you low the prices to something decent like 200 or 300 for the old iphone???
with 630 i can buy a laptop or a small laptop top! you are so greedy!!
Why dont you say 630 euros or dollars, during the Keynote Jobs!!!???Why you talk in 99 dollars like you were giving almost for free!! steve jobs showing internet with wifi( at &t) ,and that apple engineer talking about video calls,as he has invented vedio calls with front n back camara . man give me a brake .im from sri lanka and i think we have been using this since 2007 even tough we are 8000 km away from usa. just wanna ask you ,jobs are we in same page? or jobs trys to shell his goofy tennis shoe?? i love apple coz they make the competitor to be more innovate and stylish.after using all the phones nokia ,SE,BB,Iphone HTC ,i back to stone age with my alltime fava Motorola V3. COZ its suites my slim style ....

You dont need Orb to watch live tv on the iPhone. TvCatchUp is simply brilliant, plus NetTv, Justin.tv & TVUPlayer provide a good service for lower quality streams.

Yes there are other smartphones with higher specs but if the overall user experience doesnt match the quality of hardware, what good is that? Ok take the HTC Desire for example. Its great no doubt and it excels the iPhone in hardware specs. But the user experience of the phone simply cannot match the iPhone. The iPhone is far from a plain phone, in fact its got brilliant functionality, may not be enough for people looking for specifics in a phone, but well enough for most others.

I know that some store in HK asking HK$8,000 for 16Gb (preorder of course). It is not cheap but sure HK guys will have sufficient stock on hand when it become available.

I guess your own individual ... morePersonally I find it much easier to find the ringtone on the net, then either download to my PC first, or with the data cable, directly into my Android phone with external memory card, or I can take out the memory card and insert to the PC and copy the files. No itunes needed.
When I put my Android Moto Milestone side by side with my wife's Apple 3G, both run just as fast in terms of either browsing the net or running the apps. So in this aspect I'd call it even.
Apple certainly loses in the areas of voice quality and reception when being compared with Motorola, and I don't see how such disadvantage would translate into higher price.
Don't get me wrong, I like iphones too, and I'm glad it has captured so much market share that the almighty European brand is losing big time! And without Apple, I don't think I can get Google to make Android, and Moto to release such great devices like Milestone.

I think the phones are all ready at Foxconn, just for each country Apple needs to install the specific (traditional Chinese for HK) OS.
