24 March, 2016
The benchmark in question is AnTuTu 6 and the S820-powered HTC beat the Galaxy S7 edge (both Exynos and Snapdragon).

Nice bezel. They have not learned anything, every HTC model got 60 screen to body ratio.
Someone should tell them that we've got 2016 haha

I don't believe in HTC flagship beating Samsung flagship. Those days are gone when HTC was a charm and pride. Let the HTC 10 comes and fights with Samsung S7, LG G5 and Apple 6s. Then I will decide. But one thing for sure, I always admire HTC built quality and design. Samsung (my favt), LG and Apple can't compete HTC in this department. Only Sony is par with HTC in built quality.

Anyways, anxiously waiting for HTC 10....even more than Samsung S7.

And you won't even notice the difference. Benchmarks are pointless.

Hope HTC stays with 1080p. QHD is not only useless on a 5 inch screen, it also adds unnecessary load on GPU and battery.

If this is real, it must be 1080p display resolution. There is no other explanation.

So? It's pretty meaningless what these phones score in benchmark tests. The differences won't be discernable to 99.999% of users and who'd want to be in the minority of people who think it does??

If you went around talking to people about benchmarks and clock speeds, you'd never get invited to anything hahaha

The 820 cannot reach those values normally. Thats probably a test unit with some CPU overclock.
Retail units will keep it on the 130k mark, like pretty much every other 820 phone. Unless the screen res is just 1080p
