The optimal ppi should be around 400-600 ppi, so that would mean 720p on devices with 3-4 inch screens, 1080p on 4-5.2 in, qhd on 5.3-7 in, and 4k and 8k on everything else

Yeah it's got some specs but what about at least a 4000mah battery? These manufacturers need to make this an solution. Big SCREEN 4000 -5000MAH BATTERY

Miki, 30 Mar 2016Xiaomi, don't follow that insane Samsung logic. QHD screens... moreSaddly, there are still people feeding the thought that the bigger the better. There's no point on having more than 340ppi pixel density. Most people don't even see the difference between 290-320ppi. And yeah, they always say: But we want it for VR... and I'm pretty sure most of them don't even use VR.

Flagship display sizes come in varying sizes.

"If you want HD display go buy a Budget Phone or xperia z compact series or even worse iPhone se"

Budget, flagship, or whatever, I'd go for HD if the display size falls on my perceived appropriate category (which could be different from society's categorical average). I do not just go blindly follow society's averages. I weigh on my perceived category that which could shift, change, distort, or revert at some point(s) in time. Just so I would not feel any regrets on a device I would be using for years before I blame it all on society's standards for patterning my choice after it

Muthu, 30 Mar 2016I would like to disagree with you due to the below reasons.... moreNot that what you're saying is incorrect or anything, but I still think FHD is better for phones with less 6.0" on the diagonal. Your arguments are valid BUT any phone with FHD as opposed to QHD will still perform better, even if the 2016 chips can handle QHD just fine, they will handle FHD even better. The difference is really not that big. I have a 6P and a 6s Plus and there is a difference but it's barely there. I prefer a smoother UI and better battery life (which the 6s Plus have over the 6P even though the specs are lesser)

I don't care about RAM and processor, noone should care that much anymore, the nexus 6p I had for a couple of months was blazing fast with that sd810.
What I care about I the overall experience and the camera and as much as I like xiaomi, they really have to find a better solution than this mediocre 5 lens optics imx 298... That's 2014 image quality, the note 4 did better...

Nope I am more exited about info of snap 823 (maybe Will come in next nexus and next flagship Sony series too :D)
