The display is Quad HD which OBVIOUSLY needs the best available graphics chip to enable it to run efficiently. Oh btw the Priv was shown off at MWC 2015 with curved edge display before samsung even announced the s6 edge. The device was also built for BB10 which is based upon the most advanced software platform called QNX, it also requires much less resources than android which is why its much faster, smoother, stable and more secure than ANY android device that ever existed!

NO other brand had total domination like BlackBerry did, its all shared now hey & you talk about Samsung? They so useless they had to copy Apple's design, and BlackBerry’s curved screen for the edge variant, what's even worse the s7 is stuck with the old s6 design because apple never yet launched the iphone 7 to copy from lol.
Now go back to school and learn ABC before embarrassing yourself with your lil uneducated opinion.

Oh I just wish blackberry would make an android phone without a physical keyboard. They make some of the best structured products out there and I think a lot of people recognise this. Give it a last try blackberry and then maybe fold. I am convinced you can do it.

AnonD-305089, 31 Mar 2016the two people who own this phone must be happy.I own the Priv and love it immensely.

It looks great and is a unique choice for a smartphone (in a world of glass slabs with awful touch screen texting). I loveeeeee my physical qwerty KB that also doubles as a touch pad, which is great for editing email and texts.

Also, the Priv is rocking a snapdragon 808 processor..... That's a more than capable chip to run this underrated beauty of a phone.

Sadly, Prime lacks both of them. They were not even high-end parts when they came out - they were built for mid-range phones.
Keep living with the impression that if a device has a big screen, automatically the device is high-end. Brands will love you for sure!
Go do some research first before embarrassing yourself...

I love my blackberry priv and I am very, very picky about my stuff. In fact I am very pick about everything. And I love the secure platform that comes with it, that no other maker of phones has yet. So, blackberry I am here to stay another 4 years. Thanks !

SOC 808 is not brand new but SOC 810 has issues and when Priv came out, SOC 820 wasn't out. Selfie cam is a huge disappointment for a device priced so high.
