          Especially the better camera, with the new camera module the iso levels can go higher capturing more light and there is nothing as cool as night photography.

                  lg g5 .........is way superior in all terms as compared to S7

                    I don't wanna make any comment, but I have to say it LG G5 now for now is the best smartphone in the market, don't care if it hurts you, but is the reality. I use IPhone in fact the 6s, and I have to repeat I have used in my hands the LG G5 and is the terminator of the smartphones. LG killed this time!

                            So I owned the LG g2 for a while. Most of the functions I never used. (Q slide nfc and so on) It was made out of plastic. Never cared what was made out of ( I always had it in a case) Camera for that time was good comparable to the competition's flagships. But nobody really took in consideration the LG g2... My friends were like ... What is that phone? Battery life was great in the first half a year then didn't really hold the charge for that long anymore. I carried in my pocket and it always was dialing or turning an application. But that was their first flagship ... Never bought the 3or 4 . I was looking forward for their 5th gen phone. I was hoping that they will price it competitive but no att network is as expensive as the galaxy... why?!?...LG you are not there yet but still try to charge a premium unless I go to a network like sprint so I can find a good price on the same phone... your marketing is out of control if you allow a phone company to dictate your pricing .I was looking forward for a change in your device since you had some nifty things announced for the g5 (all day notification on screen, battery removable,c type charging, convinient placement of fingerprint button)
                            It is disappointing that I have to pay the same for your phone when I can get an edge for pretty much the same money ( Samsung proved themselves LG not yet but you want premium money for a product that on paper looks okish )
                            Good luck to you and bad luck to me as I can't compare you to s7

The s7 has much better battery life (endurance rating is 60 hours vs 80 hours). The g5 is the one with poor optimisation, and their screens aren't very efficient at high resolutions either.

                              Also, I'm pretty sure that touchwiz is leaner than lg ui now, it takes less storage space at least.

                              But anyway, as I said. For the same amount of time you'd get more out of the s7.

                                AnonD-442781, 03 Apr 2016Usb type c is hardly a deal breaker. For many people it is ... moreAre you kidding me? Have you tried the Fast Charge feature on the G5? I have tested it and it is fast. In 30 minutes, went from 3 percent or 65. And even with that 65 percent with moderate to high usage, the battery is going to last for a long time. Before that charge, I was at 34 percent and on the phone web browsing, talking to a buddy on Hangouts and streaming music (not all three necessarily at the same time) pretty much constantly and the phone lasted about 2 hour 45 minutes before going to 3 percent and needing to be charged. I believe it's Fast Charge 3.0 and then combined with the USB C, this thing charges fast. It slowed down last 10 percent (most phones with Quick Charge do to prevent overheating/explosion of battery), but even fully charged from almost dead took about 75 minutes. Also, higher mah rating doesn't always mean battery will last longer and software's a factor so if you have a lot of bloat and extra processes in the background your battery may not last as long.

                                  Nonetheless the S5 is not bad at all. Sure, its looks might not appeal to everyone but it has a terrific reception because of the materials used. It has all the features either built-in or via an optional back (QI charging). And it is fast even today. With some minor tweaking (to regain full r/w access on sd-cards or proper mirarcast with non-samsung smart-tv's for example) it can be made into a very good device actually.

                                      I'm a Sony fan and I voted for the S7. Why?
                                      Because I saw two videos with it on YouTube that made me think about switching to Sammy.

                                      First video is where a guy takes the S7 and places it in the washing machine for 50 minutes and there was NO damage!
                                      The second video is where an S7 is placed inside a casserole full of cola for 10 hours in the freezer at -24 degrees! And the best part is that after 10 hours in those conditions, the phone was still working!

                                      On the other hand, the G5 is one ugly phone.
                                      It has only two things that i like: USB-C and the lockscreen.
