Hi I have a iPhone 3gs I don't think I'll get iPhone 4 untill they have been out for awhile,so I can see what issues they have when they launch here in Australia, but I'd like to ask everyone with an iPhone regardless of what model if u have ever had 3 dark blue to black dots up near the ear speaker,as I've had 3 iPhone an 8gig first then upgraded to the 16 gig 3gs which I lost and got replaced via insurance and all 3 of them had these spots as did my girlfriends one,I work in the industry and have asked alot of people if they have had that happen,so I'm
jus curious to see how many of u have had this problem, also does anyone know why it happens?and is it something that's a fault, the phones works fine but the dots bother me

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2010Well you seem more psychic than I, you seem to know the pri... moreagreed its 100,000 to 160,000 android phones sold daily....iphone 4s 600,000 so called pre-orders isn't all that impressive, that'll be done by android by this time on monday evening! Analysts have said that even that 600,000 iphone figure isn't accurate as the apple system was crashing under the strain and many peoples orders had to be re-applied continually, some ended up doubled as they did infact register first time so added up to make the 600,000 figure. No phones drop from from 400 to 99 over a couple of months, thats a ridiculous claim from the heartbreak kid. The reason phones from manufacturers do drop in price second hand etc is (especially with android) newer tech and featured models are continually being rolled out, with massive enhancements each time at an reasonable price brand new and as such you would want to pay too much for the older model. Apple howere is stuck with the same limited and dated tech for some time, and as apple is it has a tight grip on prices networks and sellers have on iphones and doesn't allow price drops no matter how dated the phone is....evident now how they haven't allowed any price drop in the 3gs yet

Narcolepsy, 25 Jun 2010its the 4th edition and it doesn't even have full multitask... moreGood Candy-wrappers can't make a good candy afterall, making a Cake is almost going to be impossible. And yes it isn't a smartphone, just a phone, good toy that tries to make calls.
Sending everyone 10years back using basic pda.

READ MY LIPS:
iPhone 4, HUGE drop in sales, millions of units below what analysts predicted.
Still won't overtake Symbian or blackberry
Android will overtake them bu millions of units!
It takes less than a week for android to outsell the ENTIRE apple preorder: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/article.cfm/2010/06/25/160_000_android_phones_now_sold_daily

Dear all iphone users and GSMarena-er,
I'm from corning, the company that sell the gorilla glass for apple. I want to set some fact straight, so that no finger pointing in the direction it should not.
First,
Apple bought a glass from us that called gorilla glass. It's a gorilla, not king kong glass, not godzilla glass. The gorilla glass were designed with gorilla in our mind. Most of the time, gorilla only sit, and when it walk, it bend it's body so the hip is not very high. The guy from iFixYouri, drop their iphone 4 too high. It should be noted that iPhone4 is designed to be dropped from the gorilla hip when the gorilla sit down. Therefore, iFixYouri action and reaction is as expected from corning.
We notice there were some confusion among GSMarena-er about the glass. The video on how strength the glass were in iSteve presentation is the GodZilla glass. Please notice that the gozilla hip is around 20 storey high. At the time iphone 4 still in development, we were offering the GodZilla Glass to our friend in cupertino. Unfortunately, iSteve said the secret ingredient to all his product were, cheap stuff + cheap labor + apple greedy = great product. So, he refuse using GodZilla glass, as he deemed that US$50 for 2 side of the glass is too expensive. We were then offering him the king kong glass. The king kong hip is lot lower than godzilla hip. It's only around 20 meter (66 feet), but again, that US$ 10 for 2 side of the glass is too expensive for iSteve. He prefer the gorilla glass, because the gorilla glass is the cheapest of them all, thus perfecting the secret ingredient for making a perfect iphone product. Cheap device, great profit. And as iSteve said, "iphone user just like gorilla, sitting around using the iphone all day, so why using king kong glass or godzilla glass?"
We @ corning, really wish that no one blame us for the glass, as apple is the one who use our godzilla video for gorilla presentation. If any of iphone4 user want to exchange the gorilla into godzilla, don't hesitate to call corning.

The fact that iHaters are filling up this post with abuse and anger proves the iPhone is centre attraction! So much anger is unhealthy, let go, its only a mobile phone at the end of the day :)
And Apple iPhones may have their flaws but overall they are still the best :)

Heartbreak Kid, 25 Jun 2010What the same way people are stupid to fork out for an unpr... moreYes there are millions of suspetible people out there...that is quite evident, apple has been very crafty with its marketing that way.....although telling people to fork out even more money to try and sort out one of its terrible design errors such as the signal loss is a major bump in that marketing plays.......or maybe not if they just wanted even more cash of fanboys,we'll see i guess

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2010whatever. buy the phone offline for 600 or 500 depending on... more99% of phones drop in price in no time. Thats because there is either a better phone (mainly the iphone) or the phone just aint selling that well. The Samsung Galaxy i9000. Will come out at about £550 approx. Give it 2 months, that will drop down to £300. Another few months after that and Argos will be selling it at £99.99 on PAYG. Typical Samsung pattern.
Nokia N8. Will come out £500+ (I wouldnt pay half that as its a Nokia and will be full off bugs and will irritate me). The phone will drop down in value in no time. £300 in 3 months.
The iPhone 3GS. Still selling at £400+ over a year after release and with the iPhone 4 out. People still buy it. Reason? Its brilliant thats why people want it and will fork out good money for it.
Simple Mathematics.
