Oh! So people are holding the iPhone 4 the wrong and the problem is not due to the fact that an external antenna array is a bad ideal on a phone? Wow! If Steve hadn't educated us about this we'd all be in the dark now! Riiight! *roll eyes*

an over priced piece of antique technology !!!! sorry but its the truth, im all into brand names but i expect to pay top price for a name but i at the very minimum expect it to be up to date and actually work, apple have let everyone down especially their reponse to this issue. its not im trying to insult im just pointing out the obvious, and after all the money apple have got from the iphones sales you think they would hold their hands up and say "yeah we messed up but will fix it" just imagine if the recent toyota brake issue was answered with a reponse well dont break ever and u wont have the issue would anyyone be happy with that ?
NO !!!!!

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2010Nope, the fix is a firmware 4.0.1 update, not a recall.
... moreThere's nothing exaggerated. They are either going to mask the issue and the signal indicator won't be accurate or boost the antenna power which will shorten an already mediocre battery life. It's all been discussed: http://goo.gl/9c5M
Indeed a small issue, hundreds of thousands of complaints on all mac forums/rumors and youtube, such a small issue :)))
But how will they fix:
-cheap glass - miserable lies in advertising
-cheap screen with light leakage and dead pixels - more lies
-inverted buttons - no quality control
-sim slot defects - bad soldering of components
-faulty cameras, microphones, proximity sensors - cheap parts
And where are all your friends?
I only see LoL bricked that keeps criticizing links from insanely great mac, gizmondo engadget, gsm arena and others :))
Funny how you fanboys throw s*it on each other.
And funny how the first hand reviewers failed to notice the signal issue first hand. Like engadget who is paid by apple for example ;)
Good thing they came back on the issue to not discredit themselves completely :)))
So again, why would I buy something that:
-has worse signal than 3GS
-cheap glass
-cheap screen with light leakage and dead pixels
-inverted buttons
-sim slot defects
-faulty cameras, microphones, proximity sensors
Why don't you guys shoot some videos and share them with us to prove it ain't so?
Or are you still waiting for your replacement units... awww so sweeet=)))))

Hi, first to get it out the way, I don't like Iphones but I don't think they are rubbish. They have in fact pushed the other manufacturers to take their fingers out. But I do think Apple promote and advertise to sheep with out functions of phone and are very clever to make them look like new functions.
What I will say is that they are really shooting themselves in the foot here as you can't use the camera or anything on the phone without losing reception. This we have tested in a phone store and spoken to friends in other mobile stores with the same issue. Now I have got a couple of friends who have not noticed a problem yet so not all bad news. But what Iphone will notice is if this does become a major problem with the phone and their only solution is "don't hold the phone that way" I think they will lose lots of loyal customers. We already have people changing to Android.
Now we all know every phone has faults but the builders of these try to develop solutions if Apple don't address it it will harm their reputation!
Go Android!

Why do nokia fanboys go in here and make up stories and exagerrate on an otherwise small issue? Why don't you guys just stick with your nokia devices and stay away from the iphone. Why troll?

Dont want a case on a phone. Its like buying a nice shiny new car and covering it in bubble wrap. Except apple again have taken away our choice, this time with pure and simple bad design.

[deleted post]Well you've just gone and insulted millions of people.
Remember, a lot of people simply DO NOT CARE about features and are mostly former Nokia owners. They bought the iphone for the great user experience.
Not everyone takes mobiles apart and examines how many megapixels the camera has, or if it can handle any file format (mobiles with NEVER become computers, due to limited screen size).
You haters are simply single minded with an agenda. If it was Nokia that was gaining the media attention that Apple is, you'd be bashing them.

A. B. Noy, 27 Jun 2010Don't forget their greatest asset, "Stolen technology ... moreRegarding the stolen Intelectual Property,
The 'great' eldar mutazin in mobile-review wrote that apple have been on the iphone before they release the iPod. They buy a lot of equipment to test the phone but doesn't really know how to operate it.
In the end, they just experimenting a couple of proven design from other manufacture to make the phone. and they were surprised to be caught by others.
But steveo is very stubborn, and you know the rest...
Here is the article:
It's really give a proof that apple stole others technology

On one hand, Apple screw up, on the other, they succeed.
Imovie has been released on the appstore. At £2.99, it has more HD video editing features that can be found with many camcorders. This is an amzing app, for a relatively cheap price.
