Iphones cant even multitask. They do App switching and freezing. That is not multitasking.

Your statement couldn't be more insultingly wrong. The 6s has MORE resolution than a 720p display; 768 x 1334. WQHD IS QHD. The W is added to avoid confusion with qHD with a small q. The one with 960x540 is qHD.

Do you actually get my statement? I know they use different TYPES of displays, but they're using their own respective latest displays. 6s using the latest-gen LCD and S7 using the latest-gen AMOLED. Saying that AMOLED is better than LCD is subjective. I personally prefer LCD as they don't get burn-ins. Also, using VR with AMOLED can be pretty frustrating as you can see the PenTile Matrix.

And when u use keyboard with those 2 apps open u cant see anything. Apple have split screen multitasking in ipads. Where they can run both apps full sized.

All of u guys saying that this is not a fair comparision ,that these are different devices with different os. What do u want, comparing galaxy s7 to s7 iphone 6s to another iphone 6. Whats the point in that. These both are smartphones available for purchase so they are legible for comparision.

I cannot imagine my life without it... when I take any other phone to hand and the screen suddenly turns off... I am like "how dare you stupid thing turn the screen while I am looking to you".. and only the I realise that it is because of Smart stay my phone screens stays on... and it is not given.
To other responses... Yes nowadays phones are made to multi-task... well done Apple you have phone which can win the game of running one app at the time... however, that is not realistic scenario. Furthermore.. as said FHD vs. WQHD... Transition effects etc... this is not fair test. Yes it is - "out of the box test", but Android devices are made to be customised and not used like that... simply uneven playing field. Now go and check camera samples (another humiliation to apple?).

2. If u want animations to be turned off, turn them off for both phones. Ask eanyone, iphone have slower aninations.
Its more about optimisation for cpu ,gpu ,memory and ram, rather than resolution.

These tests may vary a lot! It's two different operating system with different amount of ram and cpus. The apps may load more into ram if available or may do less if not as many cpu's. So if the developers of the apps wanted to, they could optimize the loading speeds.

Why iPhone is faster is coming from the fact that Apple has fastest single cores in the market, and mostly time device only uses dual core and thats why we see results like this.

A file explorer is far from useless, use it all the time (access my nas etc).
OTG is far from useless, I connect USB devices on my phone every now and then to transfer files...
Yeah some features are useless, but others are incredibly useful...

Im not a fan of any brand, but to me this is not a fair fight.
- FHD vs QHD
- animations and transition effects on the S7 seem to be set to 1sec when they should be set to 0.5 or off.
- S7 should be de-bloated first (lagwiz has a LOT of useles apps that 90% of the people never use)
I'd still choose the S7 that i would root just after getting it out of the box and delete most of it's useless apps.
Crapple is simply just a STOCK phone with NO customization capabilities while android is made to customize almost everything.
As a graphic designer i know what I'm talking about. Except for the wallpaper, you can't change anything on the iphone.
Anyway, I'm not into stock and i never will be. It is for people with zero technical skills and NO imagination.

Touchwiz has some very useful shortcut features which are still unmatched according to me. Specially the capacitive back button placement.
And I am sure that both iOS and Touchwiz are equally great, these are great phones.
