med range for BB means S200 with 1Gb of ram and 1500mah battery for $400

The market is saturated with phablets and touch screen but not a sign of hardware keyboard devices in sight.
Blackberry to go back to the goodol days and possibly bring back some sort of remake of bis/bes they could rule the business part of the mobile world.
I would love to get my hands on a hardware keyboard device either android or bb10 as long as it works.

I am from South Africa and the curve was a killer here in 2011-2012 everyone had one because it was cheap and offered a once off data plan here by us data plans are day light robbery so blackberries made sense at the time I have a 9800 torch which I have 5 years now amazing phone strong solid battries are crap though screen strong falls thousands of times yet no cracks its my work phone and serves me well getting emails instantly and I do have an S7 edge for home use..... So if blackberry wants in the game again make a flagship killer specs decent at least with android and a data plan like BIS !!! Pay once sorted for the month

They shouldn't focus on high-end devices for consumers since samsung and apple dominate that market.
Focusing on SD6xx powered phones will be a better option. the only reason i didn't buy a priv is the huge pricetag. i was a BB user back when android wasn't so popular. i kept using BB until they came up with BB10 OS. that's when i made my switch to android.
SD6xx processor, 1.5 or 2GB RAM, 5MP selfie cam with a 12MP main shooter, a slider QWERTY keyboard like the priv, and a gimmick or two like samsung's and it's gonna sell out.

                            GSMArena,
BlackBerry sold 600K devices and the majority were BB10. BlackBerry insider claimed that BlackBerry sold fewer than 150K PRIV last quarter.

Back to the topic, The PRIV is now regarded as a mid-range phone, and it is impossible for BlackBerry to compete in this arena amidst many Chinese manufacturers that now selling high end devices on affordable prices.
S6, G4, Moto X Pure, HTC M9 and many other great phones are now having mid-range prices.
                            Could BlackBerry compete with those???
                            Highly doubt it!
Chen needs to pull the cord... It is unfortunately all over

it,s time for bb lower there price. but there are still a but. they have to come whit somthing new on there phone there ARE MANY PHONE,S out there .but if you pay atention the only thing,s there are doing i coming whit some minor hardware changes in terms of speed Funktionality ram and cpu cam and size and pixel .and making them waterproof look what htc is doing. working on there phone sound to be diferent. because they are all using the same android so they have to do somthing to be diferent. samsung it self is playing whit there touchwiz look at there new app lock. so in the future there there will be some changes the only thing to bring back bb and for real even if it it is in the android world is to come whit somting new the have to think out of the box

Priv has a capacitive, concealable keyboard. Hacks can say the priv doesn't have the specs to match it's 'flagship' competitors. But the reality is there's no other android or ios device on the market that compares to the priv.

Acknowledge the capacitive keyboard as a spec, it's rad. Like most things BlackBerry it takes practice to master.

It costs more to make. That's why it costs more to sell.
