The best is still un... more@heynekko, what you are asking is a 2/3" sensor, which will require a glass front element the size of the one in the Fuji XQ2, if you don't want to be expending pixels to correct distortions and CAs. That's very hard to fit in a 9mm thick frame. As it is difficult to fit a xenon flash and its capacitor too. So I agree, the 808 will remain king for the time to come.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2016Sony fanboys are crying. First Samsung and now HTC.Lol. Z5 is a 2015 phone and it scored 87. Htc 10 is a 2016 score and its just 1 point ahead. And that's also a mistake. Both Z5 and Htc 10 score same in mobile photo and video subscores.

I have been wondering about DxOmark since I got my S7 Edge.
It has a rather poor dynamic range, noticeably worse than the Note 5 it replaced for me. It is also worse than the old iPhone 6+.
The S7 Edge is better than those in low light, by a significant margin, but the loss of detail in high-contrast scenes is as bad as it was on the S5.
I hope the HTC is better in this respect.

I hoped for 12 MP ultrapixel with 2 microns of pixel size like the old ultrapixel but alas it is just 1.55 microns. I guess the king(808) will continue its reign
