The HTC 10 scores same as Z5. Same subscores for mobile and video. Yet htc is one point ahead? Some mistake.

Edge screen? Who needs that? What's the benefit of edge screen before loading some laggy touchwiz edge apps on it and yet samsung calls it an innovation?
I rather have an OIS selfie than an unnecessary edge screen that serve zero purpose.

Wh... moreBecause photo is more important than video and weights more, so imagine the Galaxy has 88 and 88, makes 88.
The HTC has 88.4 in photo and 86.4 in video, but they calculate phone to video 4:1. Do the math and you will get the exact same 88

DXO clearly stated that they weigh the photo score more than the video and therefore you cannot simply average 86 and 88 to 87 nor can you manually average the individual metrics. There is no way for us to deem how heavily, exactly, the photos are scored only that they are more so. The phone scored an 88. Please read the explanations and preface before you start doing your own math.
Quote from their review (http://www.dxomark.com/Mobiles/HTC-10-camera-overview-A-great-all-rounder-for-stills-and-video): "The overall DxOMark score is composed of a two subscores, Photo and Video, with greater weight given to the Photo score in the final evaluation."
Overall it should be a great phone and competitive shooter!

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2016Am I the only one who feels s7 is more prettier than HTC 10... moreIp68 certification doesn't mean ugly phones. The Xperia Z line are all waterproof. The Z3 series and onwards are IP68 certified. They look as good, if not better, than S7.
