The funny thing is you spec nerds come here all the time and complain, when the average user doesn't care. If you guys knew nothing of specs you would have thrown all your money at this phone no questions asked.It is still a powerful phone. Tired of all the spec geeks on this site

Very sad and shame for HTC to underestimate the Indian market by bringing in a downgraded version of the new HTC 10. This is the mistake companies do by underestimating huge markets like India. This may very well contribute towards extinction of brands in popular and potential markets. Why can't HTC learn from the success of apple and Samsung in India? They should bring both models to India to cater to wider audience. I was keenly awaiting for the launch but hugely disappointed now.. This won't suit my 'Lifestyle' sadly..

Just checked HTC Indonesia website, with 69 Million smartphone users you just offering Lifestyle version !
Sorry HTC, your marketing totally sucks, no wonder this company going down year after year..

We need HTC 10 SD820 in Indonesia too. Samsung, Iphones lots of Indonesians can afford them. it's not a matter of price, if HTC is willing to release a beast of a phone like the HTC 10 SD820 there will be a lot of people buying it. If you release the HTC 10 with a half-assed processor like the 652 but put a high price tag NO ONE would buy them for sure. With a high price-tag the product must be the best also. Consider this HTC, you have a lot of potential customers, dont dissapoint them!

The lower memory is what hurts it more. It means less caching for apps, which means far slower experience (more reloads).

HTC fans from India pls see the HTC India website . There has been a change in plans . They are releasing (announcing ) the the full version HTC 10 . But no update on When and How Much .

I don't see anything "class leading" in this phone. I cannot say it doesn't look good, but the camera is "just matching" (pretty sure LG and Samsung still going to have edge over it), the screen is obviously worse than one on Samsung (in fact no screen matches the Samsung)... and the rest is either nearly matching or below... HTC - "forever second (or I should say ~5th)"... and it is not enough to be second. One thing which is particularly embarrassing is that they have camera bump on 9mm thick phone. Not only it is thickest flagship of this year, but even that doesn't hide the camera bump - poor HTC.

Held off on replacing my current HTC with the HTC 10. But I now learn they're not releasing the flagship in India. I'm gonna wait another month. If this watered down 'Lifestyle' thing is all they've to offer, many people will just buy the OnePlus 2. But knowing HTC customers' taste, once they know they're being made to pay a premium for a lesser product, they'll switch over to the iPhone 6/6s. As will I.

GPU lacks newer version API support.
CPU is way ahead of SD808 both in single core and multi core

HTC company is already in loss, now they are offering low power chipset in some countries, which is worse decision from HTC. The reason behind this is the price of the two model would be more or less the same. So my point of view is again HTC will fail this year also. Customer will have other option also to go with S7 or G5. They will not buy downgraded chipset provided by HTC.
