i am with rogers x10a and i unlocked it ,but i am on the 1st fimrware. 014 yet phone and pc says tat its on latest firmware and there is nothing to upgrade.. any1 can help me on this

Ahmad, 30 Jun 2010could somebody tell that this upgrade would enable the X10 ... morei believe the 16m colors is limited by the 1.6OS
It'll most likely be availible with the Q4 upgrade to 2.1 with 720p HD recording.

could somebody tell that this upgrade would enable the X10 to efficiently use the ready 16M colour display, or it would still require the Android 2.1 to support that.

Just ouple hours ago , i used MOTOROLA Milestone
it has Arabic langauge printed on Keyboard ! And the Arabic support already built in !Why SE doesn't has that in the X10 ?
By the way , I checked the Milestone firmware , it is 2.0

LOL, SE lovers, X10 is the slowest and crapiest "Smartphone" :) I just bought Htc Desire after playing with both of the phones.

^^ pinch zooming (multi touch) will not be present on x10 due to some hardware limitations^^...

The other part i can see that they have added is a few new language's on the keyboard i.e. Chinese and Korean also any swype users you will need to un-install and re-install to get the app to work :p

video light now works for me snappier loading messages tho now the most recent is at the bottom keyboard is less laggy seem slightly faster no hd video as some ppl asked no pinch zoom (there never will be) 3g signal holds better

eric, 30 Jun 2010i hope this doesn't mean eclair is being postponed again..when was Eclair posponed for X10?
First they were talking about an update in q4, now they say you might get 2.1 in q3, and the 720p recording in q4.
And this update has been talked about for months, even before the talk about 2.1 in q3.
So it should not!
