Hmm, Ok....I will have to ask you the same question which has been asked by many people in this forum to various fanboys (ifanboys particularly) - Which rock did you hide under for last 3 years? And he told me screw ms I waited Soo .long And then they give me a crap plastic slab sorry ms goodbye. This 930 is probably the last wp device I would buy I bought the Lumia 800 the flop phone it was a great phone the hardware was awesome now ms window 10 for phone is buggy like a beta version and there hardware is crap why would one with brain even buy it.

Surprisingly, Microsoft seems more than aware of what's happening.
In India, Nokia was doing fairly well with mid rangers which were mostly discounted, both online and offline. However, off late Nokia just rolled back any discounts, all New models are just priced out their respective range, killing just about any purchase intent.
It's pretty sad. I had a 638, purchased discounted at $100 from an MS store on Amazon. Amazing battery life, mid ranger specs, used to power the hotspot for my LG G2 and still have juice left at the end of the day. Even the build was rock solid, and took like 50 falls for the screen to finally crack. Will miss the the non laggy, dependable as hell OS.
Here's to the beginning of the end..

A suicide by MS after upgrade to 10, everybody waiting since year and bogged down by insider previewslater to be official quiet ambiguous manner. No resale No demand their latest flagship 950 xl is begging to be sold on instalments. High time Intro Surface but no experimental solid glass steel or never polymer. Rest is MS date of failure !

Xz8441, 22 Apr 2016I must say they brought it on themselves. Their development... moremicrosoft didn't release a flagship for almost 2 years or even more from 930/1520 until 950/XL
everyone forgot they even existed.
there was nothing wrong with their flagships, since they only had 1 for too long the choice was limited either buy this or buy android.what were they thinking?
the only reason i've been waiting for microsoft mobile was running full desktop apps
THEY FAILED.

They release an unfinished OS and the design of their flagships are nothing special. And then they keep releasing budget phones that still have SD400 or SD200 chip sets, when there are already android devices that offer SD600 chip sets for just a bit more money. Plus the developers are not really that invested in the Windows ecosystem. Only die hard microsoft fans and nostalgic lumia owners are keeping this OS alive for longer than it needs to be.

DantE O2, 22 Apr 2016as long as they are sticking with Qualcomm shi... processor... moreI actually agree with you alot. if MS were to start using Intel x86 chips in their phones. They could probably turn it around somehow and boast of a real "desktop-like" experience... rather than lagging behind every time in the current scenario.
With the Intel Chipset, comparing performance would not be so straightforward anymore between Windows and others OS.

I must say they brought it on themselves. Their development cycles are fcked up and always playing catching up.
Let's look at their "flagships" all the way from Nokia days when "Flop" was still in charge.
2013
Phone
Samsung S4 (i9505)- Snap 600 released April 2013
Nokia Lumia 1020 - Snap S4 Plus released July 2013
Phablet
Samsung Note 3 - Snap 800 released Sept 2013
Nokia Lumia 1520 - Snap 800 released Nov 2013
Wasn't so bad at the beginning...
But Samsung did a refresh of their S4 (i9506) - Snap 800 released Q3 2013
2014
Phone
Samsung S5 - Snap 801 released Apr 2014
Nokia 930 - Snap 800 released July 2014 (almost a cycle late from other manufacturers)
No more Nokia/MS Flagships for more than a year
2015
LG G4 - Snap 808 released Apr 2015 (Samsung boycott Failure Snaps this year)
MS 950 - Snap 808 released Nov 2015 (more than a year since last flagship; but i'm not going to fault MS for not using the Oven that is the Snap 810, but still late by more than 6 months compared to other manufacturers).
2016
Samsung S7 and other manufacturers - Snap 820 released Mar 2016
HP Elite X3 - Announced, expected release June 2016
MS - ?????
Not only that, although their devices arrives late to the party every time, they usually cost a premium over other devices with similar hardware which had already being in the market for a while...
How do you attract customers to your ecosystem (a closed one at that) when
1) your devices cost more when they arrive to the market (late too) compared to similar hardware competitors
2) Informed Customers will know in a few months after the windows "Flagship" release, Androids will be running riot in all new higher performing hardware.
3) your app store is not up to par compared to the others?
4) Continuum, your most advertised feature for Win10, are only compatible with some of the best hardwares but availability is no where in sight for their customers...

I returned my 950xl due to alot of bugs and a faulty screen. It has potensial, but for now it is not a good os. Android got alot of faults aswell, but nothing compeard to windows phones.
