4.6"-5.2" for people that use the phone more for talking. That are always on the phone...
5.5"< for those who use the phone a lot as a pc...
I am on mate7 and it sometimes seems big, but its sooooo easy to use... I wouldnt go for anything below 5.5" . Want to try G4. Also would want to try something like 6.5"

Great poll, guys. This'll definitely be an eye opener for fans and manufacturers alike. Personally, any size below 6" is good, since a massive phone is but a small tablet, and it's rather inconvenient to raise and a hold a behemoth of those proportions to one's ear for extended periods of time. Obviously, workarounds exist, but it's just too much hassle, in my opinion. A 5.7" Nexus 6P would be perfect.

5.5" with good bezels. So far, the only phone with great dimensions at 5.5" is the LG G3.

My sweet spot is 5,5" been tested with many device from many brands and It fits for me. But I also like 5-5,3" because I can easily reach all parts of the screen with my thumb for single hand usage.

I think screen size between 4.7 - 5.0" is the best and battery sizes of nothing less than 3000 - 5000 mah/Li-po batteries should be recommended on the next generation phones/mobile devices....yah!!!

I want 6 inches but it must be 80% screen to bady ratio at least. Iphone and sony screen to body ratio is too small so keep away from big size and small ratio phones.

Rana, 24 Apr 2016My opinion is a mobile should be accessable with one hand c... moreOne handed is also prone to more drops and ruining your mobile so regardless of size I always hold with both hands. And big screen just lets you do more and be more engaged in what you're doing. I love my 5.7" screen. It's the 950XL. The bezel is barely there and it's really slim and light. There is a one handed mode and very useable but it's a huge investment so I don't take chances. I think that's where the live tiles come in handy for me. I unlock with the iris scan which has gotten incredibly fast since the latest build and I see what I need to see. My grocery list is there, everything. If I do need to type I can just dictate. But again I never was a one handed user even with my smaller phones.

I think its a thing of personal preference.
Some people prefer more screen state while some prefer easy handling
But after all its a matter of compact body.I think there are two sizes :
1. A width around 69-70mm in which most of the 5-5.2 inch lies.
2. A width around 75-76mm in which most of the 5.5-5.7inch lies.
Above and below this lies some geeks and for them iPhone SE and mate 8 lies

I have a 5" phone and I think this is as much as I can go without having one-hand problems.
The bigger the screen, the less privacy you have. I'm not into showing off at all.
Also, having a big screen eats up the memory and drains the battery.
So in my opinion, a 5" FHD screen is the best choice. QHD is for VR and in normal use you don't even see the difference.

Rana, 24 Apr 2016My opinion is a mobile should be accessable with one hand c... moreMuch too small for me , as I move around alot during the day I use phones for browsing , emails and even typing documents. under 5.5 is not easy to live with. If you work at a desk and have access to a pc all day than maybe you can live with 5".

A phone should be fully operable with one hand. So, I guess 4.7" is the limit. Do you remember the HTC One X? It was perfect in every way. Too bad they did not produce a phone like it ever since...
